Being held here in the community room, some lady running for local state senate office...says there will be snacks and drinks....so far, the lady sponsoring this here does not know if the drinks will be alcoholic or not....told her, make it good alcohol and I am there.

Shortly, dinner will be at Applebee's.....their french soup is the best!

Again, free will...does man really have free will?
Nope, not as long as man believes in a god.
In any event, free will in man has been argued by philosophers and religious men since Plato, and others.

Bible says we got free will only in the sense that we have the free will NOT to sin.

The Bible says no such thing. You choose to be selfish or generous, to resist addiction or indulge. Free will, like free speech doesn't shield you from consequences.

Now, this is politics...but now we are into religion....hahahhaha

Undocumented immigrants aren’t eligible for SNAP. Or Medicaid. Or SSI. Or TANF.

But their children are.

The only thing they can get is WIC - for pregnant and nursing mothers and children up to age 5. Because we don’t starve babies and toddlers, regardless of how they got here.

They also get a free education with 1 to 2 meals and free medical care at any emergency room.

In states like California, they not only get SNAP, they get free healthcare.

Like I said, if people are slipping theough the cracks and taking benefits they arent entitled to have, fix it. Hire more case workers. Maybe hire some of the people in the program who WANT a living wage and a career with a growth path.

One reason unemployment for minorities is so low are "opportunity zones" championed and expanded by the President. People investing in poor communities get additional tax breaks and incentives.

I personally think kids (and adults, for that matter) should have enough to eat, be able to go to school and not be denied medical care because they're poor.
States have the right to make their own laws about these things.
It's not pie. You don't get a smaller piece because someone else gets some.
That's a very stingy, un-christian attitude.

1. Amy Klobuchar - Very strong, Brought a baseball bat to a fist fight.
   
2. Pete Buttigieg - Very strong, making a great argument for the next VP.
   
3. Elizabeth Warren - Very strong took a lot of punches and still held her own.
4. Bernie Sanders - Impressive how strong right after a heart attack.
   
5. Andrew Yang - Starting to really catch fire
   
6. Joseph Biden - Starting to get stuck in the mud.
   
7. Cory Booker - Should drop out now.
   
8. Kamala Harris - Should drop out now.

We agree but differ on semantics. What we're really talking about is the "the great controversy".

Adam and Eve were created with freewill and given stewardship over the world. They could eat the fruit of any tree; including the tree of life with one exception.

The entire world was cursed through the deed of one man, and saved by the deed of one man. God lives by his own laws but instead of killing those who fail or rebel, his human son, innocent under the law, suffered and died in our place. We just have to believe and accept that truth.

Proof God exists is plentiful not only in nature but in reformed humanity. ** the great controversy is illustrated in the book of Job. We belong to God like children belong to their parents.

You state without any proof that children will be denied food and infer that budget cuts are "un-Christian".

SNAP is a federally subsidized program Illegal aliens with children are eligible for. Just like illegal alien children get a free education and medical care.

You objected to SNAP funding cut. I pointed out that the economy is doing better and prior levels of funding isn't / shouldn't be required.

American's don't get free healthcare, why should illegal aliens?

**You can't find a community in the USA that doesn't have a food bank sponsored by a Christian church. They don't turn ANYONE away.
