Mine (Portugal) does. The vast majority of countries require Voter ID... usually photo ID... to prevent fraud and duplicate votes at the polls.
USA's neighbors do. Canada requires voter ID. Mexicoβs βCredencial para Votarβ has a hologram, a photo, and other information embedded in it, and it is impossible to effectively tamper with. Confidence in the integrity of elections has soared since its introduction in the 1990s.
California and a bunch of other States allows illegal aliens to get Drivers Licences, which can be used as ID to vote.
It's easy to understand why Democrats are so much against Voter ID's, preferably with photos and holograms. They could lose a lot of illegal votes if Voter ID's were introduced in all States.
