Its funny to hear all this hate about socialism when in fact America is a mix bag of Socialism and Capitalism.
Social Security and Medicare are in fact a form of Socialism.

Try and take that away from seniors and watch them vote out whoever takes it away and admit they actually love a little Socialism in their lives.

I think to have just Capitalism would be a bad thing and to have all Socialism is also a really bad thing.
It's good to have a mix of both.

An example of bad Capitalism is Big Pharma. Making Massive profits at the cost of people's health.
Not saying they shouldn't make a profit but they shouldn't be allowed to rape the sick like they do these days.
Big Pharma needs a lot more Government regulations.

Free markets and Capitalism is a good thing, until they practice price gouging and then they need to be bitched slapped.

It's a sad day today. Sat down with my daughter to watch the latest incarnation of Dr. Who. It has always had a somewhat progessive bent, but it only occasionally steppemd over the story.

Now, with a character who can travel through all time and all space, what do they focus on? Yep, the social justice trends of the UK and US. Rather than just slip thier agenda into the story, they now make it the story. And to do that, they dumb it down to absurdity. The last shiw was a ridiculous Trump character who wanted to shoot everything.

My 12 year old daughter was pointing out the horrible writing. Maybe if she were 6, it might work. The show has become a joyless series of lectures written by not very bright 8 year olds.

The left us awful enough, but the murder of art and culture is a trait shared by only the most extreme cults.

No wonder they can't engage in intelligent debate.

Hell, I can't watch the new season simply because I'm too busy screaming at the TV for her to try and do an original take on the Dr. I'm not even noticing the story lines as I can't get past the new Dr Who's over the top channeling of David Tennant's Dr Who.

The River Song actress would have been a good Dr Who. I am withholding judgement on the current one, if only because I haven't seen her with a decent script. I am afraid that won't happen though.
