Wow, only 23 years old. PTSD is bad news, hope he will not be one who is afflicted. I have dealt with several people and have had family with it from these wars, I despise the Bushes sending my family into their War for their friends in the Oil business, the most corrupt assholes that entire family. Meanwhile taxpayers spent a billion dollars for that old jerks funeral. Few talk about him like I do, and it isn't really personal though it sounds that way. It's more what they did to the country with lives lost, damaged injured veterans, crippled people who willingly served- and trillions in debt for what? To protect their money interests and personal vendetta the younger Bush chased after Saddam because he threatened his father. Unbelievable.

I agree, from Prescott to George and George to Jeb , the big picture is not good.

โ€œThe kind of leadership that causes a dedicated patriot like Jim Mattis to leave should give pause to every American.โ€ - Ret. Gen. Stanley McChrystal

Spoken like a true war monger, that's their business is war. No Wars, no jobs for them.

Just read Gen. Mattis resignation letter. It makes it abundantly clear that we are headed towards a series of grave policy errors which will endanger our nation, damage our alliances & empower our adversaries. 1/2

And what does this career government swamp employee have to qualify his statement? He has never served in the military, he has only been in politics. Screw him.

What have you seen in Trump that qualifies him? He's basically going against the advice from those around him, many that served. Like Mattis.

The Presidency is being run solely on Trump's Gut instinct.

This should send the coldest chills down the backs of every American and it's allies.
And of course make very happy Americas enemies.

One would have most certainly thought that he would let his advisors handle their roles and him work on things he does know something about, the ego, combined with Twitter combined with selfishness is running its course.

The advisors, a lot of them are under criminal indictments, have plead guilty or are bailing out.

So much for all that, I was fooled, I voted for him

Past tense my friend.
We are all fooled many times in our lives, its what we do after we realize we were fooled that matters.
I think you just saying that was a Great thing.

The remaining Trump supporters are still completely blind and deaf.

I didn't create this or misspell it.

One thing is, he should never have announced this pullout publicly, that's probably a mistake. He even admitted this about Obama. However, removing Troops off an unwinnable war and taking the bull by the horns, using common sense, not take as gospel "normal" behavior and advice from people whose career is built on leading droves of fighting machines, killing, "protection" against the boogeyman and unknown enemies, or fictitious ones created by Bush. If Trump truly makes this pullout of Syria and af-scamistan mistake, it certainly will be lesser than his predecessors.

I am really tired of seeing videos of our injured and troubled disabled veterans (Aren't you?) from these insane wars defending cultures who have been fighting each other for centuries. There is no definition of winning, so why get involved? This ISIS thing isn't going away, the best thing is to have a travel ban on all ME visitors from enemies or warring countries. All.

The only Allies the US has, are those who send Troops or Money. Let Merkel continue to trade with the enemy and buy gas from Putin. Who cares?

India a good US ally has agreements in place to buy oil from Iran, as well as other "Allies" who do also. It's a crazy mixed up world.

Sorry, but what Obama did was announce a pull out something like a year in advance. That's quite different because it tells your enemies to cool their heels for a year until they can take over again. And it leaves troops in harm's way for no particular reason. Nothing can be accomplished and no alliances can be made once they announce they are leaving anyway.

Announcing an immediate pull out is fine. Everybody on the ground would know anyway, announcement or not. Americans need to be informed so they can go on Xanax induced rants about Russian influence.

More Liberal waste of time and money, stupidity...
Scottish Parliament rebrands gingerbread men as gender neutral and now calls them 'gingerbread persons'

I'm sure Justin Trudeau will be rushing to do the same in Canada!

The House passed a spending bill that includes $5.7 billion in border wall funding, sending the bill to the Senate.
The House passed the spending bill with border wall funding, 217-185, featuring strong Republican support for the bill and no Democrat support for the bill.

The House started a renewed effort to push for $5.7 billion in wall funding after President Donald Trump declared on Thursday that he will not sign a bill that does not include border security funding. Trump also threatened to veto any legislation that comes before him without security funding. The revised funding bill also includes $7.8 billion in disaster relief.

You guys seem to forget one thing. You are not alone in Afghanistan, Europeans troops are on your side, fighting and dying just like the American soliders.
Yeah, what are we doing there, after all wasn't it your problem ?
What 45 does not acknowledge is that some members of NATO contribute to the alliance not only with money but troops, equipment, support and blood.

So it's nice to hear that you are pulling the rug under us once more, that the US clearly is no longer the predictable and dependable ally it used to be.

The resignation letter has a clear message for Potus:
We cannot protect our interests [...] without maintaining strong alliances and showing respect to those allies.
Again:
My views on treating allies with respect
He gets it.
Even the world's superpower needs reliable allies, strong alliances. Ponder this people. Because you have squandered a decades-old system of alliances, with China and Russia eager to fill in the void.

What does the Govt do between now and mid January? They all f*ck off at Christmas Parties.

I have friends who are on the federal payroll. They are not lazy slackers like the ones you seem to have met. They get the same holidays everyone else gets, they donโ€™t have weeks of endless parties. They get up, they do their work, they come home to families.

If dump shuts down the government, they wonโ€™t get paid.

I see the Maga-ts are already trying to demonize Mattis. He was one of our best generals. Heโ€™s calling quits to a long and illustrious career - one to which he dedicated his entire life - because the president of the United States has no sense of patriotism or decency. Think about that.

Guy who set up that gofundme is a disabled veteran. He also has a history of promoting hoaxes and empty conspiracy theories. I respect the former but not the latter. Whose account is that money going into and whoโ€™s overseeing it to make sure it is done properly? Was the fund seeded and by who? Go ahead and donate if it makes you happy. As PT Barnum said...

Rubio: Then why don't you want to tear down the existing wall?

Democrats care more about denying President Trump than America.
