5: Ford is the only witness that refuses to give statement / letter under penalty of perjury.

And the spin starts NOW!!

Ford’s team is saying that what happened to her was so consequential, so momentous, that she can’t remember the year, the month, whose house she was at, how she got to the party, or how she got home. And because she can’t remember those events, that is completely consistent with her telling the truth.

On the other hand, when Leland Keyser can’t remember the events it is an indication that nothing important happened to her so she wouldn’t be expected to remember. So apparently, not remembering an event can be proof that either something or nothing happened there. Except when it involves men, and their memories are lies.

I am starting to wonder if they even have GFs or wives, and if they would stand up for them in such a situation ? It seems that the word of a woman is not worth that of a man to some people. Are we in Saudi Arabia or USA ?

In any case the right thing to do is look into this and hear everyone out. This guy’s not applying for job in fast food, he’s being considered for a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land, FFS. It’s a position for someone whose scruples are above reproach. A credible taint of illegal behavior in his past should be a dealbreaker.

The administration doesn’t need to die on this hill - they have other candidates. One of them may be more suitable.
