You’re very misinformed about “government workers” and parroting rhetoric. There are as many different roles and levels of responsibility as there are in the private sector. It’s just another type of employer. It sounds like you think everyone is some low level clerical worker. Do you actually know people personally who are government employees?
Misinformed? How many FAR’s have you been forced to read? Have you ever dealt with RFQ’s, had a cage code for your business? Do you even know what a cage code is? If so, you might be able to debate me. If not, please refrain from calling me “very misinformed”. Look at my historical comments here, about not getting paid after 6 months of incompetence requiring 49 phone calls shipping stuff to Kuwait.... etc. I have dealt with many gov contracts, personnel and have little respect for them or the process. Once they paid with credit cards, that solved some problems. Going way back in time, I have spent months on site on on contracts with large corporations who were prime contractors as well as various branches and organizations including the fed. A couple years ago I turned down a xxxxx contract, ended my relationship and said no more govt business. Please, unless you can say the same dont lecture me. I will criticize maggotville forever.
There are however a few really fine people who work in maggotville, not to disrespect them all.
Parroting? Please. No. I speak from experience and stats I read, federalpay most recently. What a huge maggot infested mess the DC area is.
“Just another type of employee”, wrong again. Its very difficult to fire govt incompetent people, hence there are so many in maggotville. Unemployable in real private jobs. You dont like swamp, so maggotville it is.
As far as knowing them, sure. Respecting them is a whole different thing.
I know a guy who makes $1000 a day, way past retirement age flys 1st class (you would work forever too, if your “job” consisted of goofing off) around at taxpayer expense smiling and shaking hands, happily a maggotville creature even flys on tours around the world pretending to work, pure politician. Nice guy, but I keep thoughts to myself.
I know a union guy, prints money at treasury. Says he has permanent security, why they won’t use the non plastic bills other countries are testing, brags he would lose his job if plastic instead of paper/fiber technology kept up.
Actually many gov retirees seen around and listening to their stories disgust me, heard enough to write a book. Includes large corporation deadweight union auto workers. On the other hand have a friend in DHS, great guy. Several great retired police guys long discussions, why they retired early, dont blame them. Worth every penny no problem.
The univ——-> law degree——>politician/maggot career track is the most disturbing.
Why do you not support fresh employees, term limits to prevent someone working 28 years like Maxine Waters, Pelosi, Scumer, Bush 1, Clintons?
The work force always needs new younger people, includes government. Lay off the old and bring in the new, just like private industry.
