Here's a hint for those that don't understand the inner workings of idiots: Don't go to the rallies of D-Bags, stand by your values and far away from them, let them choke on their own bile (and small crowds of losers).

Always sad to see political violence, but when you start silencing free speech, freedom of thought and not allowing any group from peaceful protest, then more Charlottevile's are gonna happen.
I'm all for free speech and peaceful protest, BUT

Like child p*rnograpghy, "Fighting words" and "offensive speech" are not protected by 1a. Gets tricky determining legally where the line is drawn though. There are some determining factors re what meets that criteria.

Who provoked who? Many would consider carrying a swastika and shouting Nazi slogans to be pretty provocative. Were they peacefully minding their own business? Some of them were caught on film going after counterprotesters with sticks. Or pointing a gun at them. And there's the guy in the car.

And let's say they were perfectly within their rights to assemble and spout their rhetoric - They don't stand for what this country is about and our leaders should have the brass ones to use THEIR free speech to denounce the hatred and racism. Which many of them did - including Republicans like McConnell, Ryan, Hatch, Cruz, McCain, Gardner, Grassley, Rubio, ... Except POTUS, who notably tiptoed around the subject.
For all the times he complained about obamas choice of words (ie "violent extremists" vs "radical islamic terrorists"), you'd think he'd be the first to call them what they are...
The silence implicitly condones it.

I'll stand corrected on the exec order since I don't have time to pursue the details. Anyway, not that important. Plenty of other indications where he stands. His daddy would be so proud,

That's probably it... didn't see the car.
Didn't see the other car because of all the people he was running over that were between him and it.

Nice job 45.
No wonder some groups (his support base) are feeling galvanized. The example comes from the very top always.
Hate speech is the enabler of hate actions.

And all this cray cray was (presumably) centered around plans to remove a statue of Robert E Lee. Who by traditional definition was a traitor. And he lost. About 150 years ago.
One of these groups could buy the statue and put it in their private headquarters or whatever. Just a thought. Or 45 can buy it and put it on one of his golf courses or hotel lobbies. (<-- maybe not - he doesn't like losers.)

It's easy and even pleasurable to lay blame on President Trump for white nationalist, but remember; President Obama spent more than a decade in a nationalist church and called it's racist leader his father / mentor.

America is a fair nation, and by our founding documents, we are equal under the law, regardless of our station or abilities.

Do something nice for someone you don't know this week.

I "offensive speech" are not protected by 1a.

Offensive speech is specifically protected. Supreme Court rulings prove it.

You should consider the definition of offensive. It can change based on your location, the people in the room.

I was thinking of it as a permutation of "fighting words", which has its own rulings to back up that it is not protected. Not stuff like "yo momma's ugly", offensive in the sense of actually causing harm.

Turkey Closes Border With Syria After Completing 435 Mile Border Wall
Liberals and controlled media all over the world who so vehemently opposed Donald Trumpโ€™s plan to build a border wall with Mexico have been totally silent about Turkeyโ€™s completion of a 435 mile-long reinforced concrete border wall with Syriaโ€”a construction which is 9 feet high, 6 feet wide, 11 inches thick, and topped with barbed wire and 120 observation towers manned by armed soldiers.

1) They aren't allies
2) Their country, their business what they build and where.

I have no problem with their wall. In fact I think it's a great idea, just as I think it's a great idea for Trump to build one.

It's the best way to keep illegal freeloaders and terrorists from coming in.

Media still silent about Gov and Mayor holding police back police in Charoletteville, VA.

You can almost smell the collusion.

They actually just mentioned that live on CNN right now. Gov said militia had better guns. I myself think in this situation and past ones, the police let too much stuff go.
