I saw on FOX that MI and FL were still counting, that was the 8th. Google news confirms.

I'm assuming some counties were close and automatic re-counts are taking time.

So hypothetically, if Florida was taken from Trump with some "missing ballots" and MI was called for Clinton (as it's close) along with New Hampshire, it'd put this at 261 for Trump with Arizona. Is this really over yet?

No, it's over. Re-counts in small counties would be inconsequential to state totals and the national race.

Most states delegate their electoral college votes in a block, it's winner take all. Some will split them up by county but at most, one or two votes would change.

Electoral College is ingenious.

Bill Clinton was a good President. He grew into the job, was a good leader and was for the most part successful.

Barack Obama was a divisive jerk. Instead of comprise he chose to use issues like H/C and immigration as wedges to hurt his opponents. With the help of the media, disagreement was racist.

He was handed a bad hand and worked hard. I wish he would have been more like Clinton and less like Mussolini.

Now we have a big annoying Orange running the country and all his work will be undone.

Healthcare works in Japan. The 70-30 system is great. There are some flaws here such as wait times due to fewer doctors at hospitals, but it works nonetheless.

I recently had an MRI and it cost me ~$70 out of pocket to determine which type hypogonadism I suffer from (primary [testicular malfunction, which I have] or secondary [the brain not producing the correct hormones to make the testicles fire]). I can't say that'd be the same in the US... quite possibly even with insurance. I know for a fact that there are males seeking testosterone treatment for $400 per month at male vitality clinics in the US because their insurance won't cover it — I pay $24 per month (a little bit more for ancillaries to control estrogen as it's not an approved treatment here, but I'm satisfied with that).

The problem is, America is a capitalistic country... and I have nothing wrong with that; a person who strives to succeed should be able to keep every penny they earned (to an extent, a flat tax would be best). If the rich decide to (highly unlikely) distribute their wealth for society, so be it, but I stand by the opinion that there should not be any government regulations forcing them to do so (in the form of higher taxes, etc.).

I don't think the Japanese system could ever work in the US because of money, or what others would classify as "greed".

Tax-reform, and Gov reform in general would go a long way to improving our lives.

I don't know what h/c reform / solution will look like but I hope the process is more transparent. I'm optimistic D's will be willing to work with R's b/c it means so much to them. I'm really tired of the punish your enemies mind set.

Actually the US spends a lot on healthcare but for some reason the system seems to be less efficient than in other comparable Western countries.

We'll see what happens with the healthcare. Since I work from home, my only option was "Obama Care". The plan I was on is ending. So have to choose a new one by Dec. 15. Then, that will be gone, whenever Trump does whatever he is going to do. You have millions of people that have health care now that probably won't be able to afford whatever is coming under Trump. So problems are coming. So who knows.

Just watching him today, he looks like a deer in headlights. I don't think he ever really wanted the job and just got caught up in it. Just hearing him say he'll continue to talk to Obama/get counsel from him, is good, but he's in over his head. Put too much hate out there, so don't know if he can mend that.

Probably more home grown terrorism as well.
