Today is PI day....
Pi Day. For those of you that donโ€™t know what that is, youโ€™re part of the reason the United States now ranks 27th in math worldwide. Trump talks about charter schools, what can/should/will be done to turn education into a positive thing once again in this Country?

I'm rather interested in the VP candidates this time. Hillary's VP will replace her if she is indicted, forced to resign or drops dead from the stress of keeping all her lies in order. Trump's VP will replace if he dies of mysterious causes or is indicted for one of his past business dealings.

I am guessing the puppeteers are going to focus especially on getting vice-presidents who will do their bidding this time around - as the odds are unusually high of them seeing a promotion within the next 4 years.

The old media is getting more outrageous and obvious in their propaganda mainly because they feel their influence waning and are getting desperate. Hardly worth pointing out the obvious biases. If one hasn't noticed them, that's because they share the same opinions. People rarely look for flaws in arguments they agree with.

I blame the Rothschilds for everything except the inventions that created candy, coffee and scotch.

I met a few Rothschilds several years ago. Very nice people. Of course, Bill Bonanno was a nice guy too.

I can't blame rich people for trying to influence politics, and can't understand why the hostility is focused on them rather than on the politicians who sell the people out.

If I paid a security guard to protect my business or my family home, and learned that he accepted a pay-off to allow some thieves to ransack the place, I would be far angrier at him than at the thieves. The thieves are just doing what they do, but the guard would be the one who betrayed my trust. Same with politicians.

The rich do not just try to influence, they do run the politics.
Read the history of the Rothschilds....

Yes, but again.... it's the politicians who are betraying the trust. There will always be people who try to control politics. You will never eliminate that class of person - always money, power or military might will put some people at the top of the food chain. The focus should be on keeping politicians accountable to the people.

How can one keep a politician accountable to the people?
When companies, wall street, billionaires give that politician money and stuff to vote they way they want that politician to vote.
Sticky situation that the USA got itself into a few years back, and to make it even stickier, not too long ago the Supremes said Corporations are people. Then the PACS, the Super PACS, that are not transparent in the money coming in and in the money going out.
Then you have the media, controlled by the rich, who only give out as news and opinions what they are told to spout by the rich who pay their salaries.

And finally, the thing that a lot of governments and the UN do not really like?

How can one keep a politician accountable to the people?

By strictly limiting the power of government. With less power, they have less to sell. Eliminate unnecessary powers. Disperse other powers from the federal level to the local level, where it is much easier to keep tabs on the politicians. If people still screw up and end up with rampant corruption, at least it's a local problem they brought on themselves.

From what I understand, John Kasich said he would quit his presidential campaign if he does not win his home state of Ohio.

So. Citizens of Ohio might want their Governor back at work and not on the campaign trail, and vote Trump. But may be too embarrassed to mention this in polling. That's why you play the game. (wait for the real votes)

Or they might want him out of state longer and vote for John lol
