I'm fairly amazed there are no suspects yet in today's bombings. Just as amazed, but happily, that there haven't been posts here blaming anyone without real proof.

Yeah, too early.

Didn't stop this loon - http://www.salon.com/2013/04/15/alex_jones_labels_boston_explosion_a_false_flag/ and of course what we talked about in the other thread, Westboro up to their usual stuff, already talking about picketing.

Here is the guy that was pushing one of the victims in the wheelchair:

Obama dropping some ether on the NRA and the Republicans right now.

90% of the public is ok with universal background checks, 90% of the Republicans voted against it.

The same kind of checks you have to go thru when buying from a dealer, they just wanted to expand that to guns shows and internet purchases.

Obama needs to play less golf and learn how to negotiate with Republicans.

Republicans also wanted Voter ID and Democrats where totally opposed

How do you negotiate with somebody that bends over for the NRA? Again, 90% of Americans were for this. All this does is expose them even more, and eventually they'll pay the price at the polls. I notice you try to divert from the topic.

Obama is a pretty useless president because he doesn't know how to negotiate with the Republicans. Take him off the golf courses and give him a course on how to negotiate instead of just making noise and blaming everyone else.

You're not making any sense. He wasn't on the golf course. And the blame does lie with them. 90% of Republicans voted against 90% of what Americans want. What is your view on that? Do you have a problem with background checks, the same already done with dealers, expanding that to internet and gun shows? If so, explain why you're part of the 10%?

Some video and you can read about it:

And you fail to acknowledge the absurd amount of vacation taken by the worst president in history...GWB

Hey its not just the Republicans against it. Since 90 something % of the population own guns then it means it's more or less divided between both party supporters. Bill Clinton was a far better President. Obama is a Politically Correct President who came in with no experience at all and was put in with the help of the Kiss Ass Liberal Media on 2 occasions.

Obama and the Liberal Media should grow some big cojones and talk about the real problems that cause the 11.000 gun deaths a year. He could start in his hometown of Chicago and he could address the gangs and the breakdown of the family unit in certain areas and especially in the African-American and Latino communities where most of the violence takes place.

No, it's not.

"The CBS/Times poll found 92 percent of Americans supported background checks, including 93 percent of gun-owning households."

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/02/07/gun-background-checks_n_2637530.html

They voted against what Americans want. This isn't a complicated one Gilsan. Most Americans, over 90%, in any poll you want to find, support background checks. It's common sense type stuff.

So Gilsan, are you with the 93% or the 7%? Based on your posts, I guess you're in the 7% fringe?

When I wrote "Hey its not just the Republicans against it" I was referring to all politicians including Democrats.

If you go much further back on this thread my position is very clear. I'm for background checks. I'm also for Voter ID. I'm also for unbiased reporting which the Liberal media does not practice and they represent almost 90% of all the Media in the US. That's very lopsided and very reminiscent of dictatorial regimes.

My point is that background checks is not the main reason why so many people get shot. There are other major reasons, but Liberals who follow what their stupid media says, so religiously just refuse to talk about it.

Things like I mentioned on my previous post but neither you nor any other leftie has ever said anything about. It's like a taboo subject for lefties. It's too politically incorrect to talk about. You don't want to offend the African-American and Latino community so you just keep quiet, while they just keep on with the blood bath and a total collapse of the family unit.

That's where Obama & Co. should concentrate on as a priority. Fix that problem and you fix at least 65% of gun violence in the US. Carry on being in denial. You guys are really good at that

Gilsan, I wasn't talking about all that other stuff. I was talking about something specific. You usually respond by bringing in other topics and stuff that doesn't matter, trying to divert. Like golf, when Bush and Reagan play golf and the usually blah, blah, blah liberal media stuff.

"I'm for background checks."

Great, because background checks make sense. You're with Obama and 93% of Americans.
