Gee, I'm sorry. I figured since you have the Internet it might be a little quicker for you to read about the British rule of India than having me try to explain it. I'm more than happy to provide search terms if you need assistance.
You were very vague in your statement that the Brits: "sucked the country dry. Go there today and you can still hear the sounds of a straw slurping the last few drops from the cup."

Explain what they sucked dry and what are the last drops in a cup they are slurping. The only thing I could think of is tea, something the British introduced to India about 2 centuries ago.

EDIT: So from what I gather you're trying to imply that the British were evil as colonizers during their stay in India? Would you consider yourself as a colonizer in Alaska? After all the Native Indians of Alaska and the US have lived there for thousands of years and are now restricted to a few hundred reservations in some of the most unproductive land in the country. Are you willing to leave Alaska and give it back to the Eskimos and other local Indian tribes?

Here's a better article about the British in India written by an Indian reporter: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-1298569/Britain-need-make-apology-India-Empire-.html

And here's an article about the stolen land from American Indian Tribes: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/may/04/us-stolen-land-indian-tribes-un

Thanks for the article from the UK about American Indians. I'm sure I'll learn much from it.

I appreciate your desire to educate me about topics you are much better versed in than I. I can't wait to hear about all the reservations in Alaska and about all of those "other local Indian tribes."

Would you like me to return the favor and teach you about Portugal?

Doesn't look like Sarah Palin gets anything right -

http://mashable.com/2013/04/08/elon-musk-sarah-palin/

http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2013/04/...-romney-tesla-motors-losers-who-build-bricks/

Volt actually started under Bush, not Obama and as far as Tesla:

"Like Fisker, Tesla Motors received a $465 million loan from the Department of Energy. The automaker plans to repay the loan five years early due to the expected success of its all-electric Model S Sedan. The car was unanimously voted Motor Trend’s Car of the Year in 2012."

And she never admits being wrong.

3801 Lancaster is a documentary film about Kermit Gosnell, the Philadelphia Women's Medical Society disaster and the cover-up by state and local oversight agencies. The film contains graphic descriptions and images of the horror that went on at the abortion clinic.

The Liberal Media are so hesitant to talk about this, but they have no alternative, because it's too big a story. CNN talked about it yesterday for the first time

This is not a political issue and it's really appalling to me that people want to turn it into one.

Then what type of issue would you you classify this news as? Why isn't the Liberal media talking about it? Is it because it's abortion related?

Why does the media talk about insignificant things for days and leave out a story like this? Offcourse it's political. Abortion is not only a moral issue, it's also a political issue.

This has nothing to do with abortion. The man is a monster.Abortion is safe if doing correctly.

Yet, you just mentioned CNN, started the video with Katie Couric of ABC, NBC was talking about it years ago:

'House of horrors' alleged at abortion clinic

http://www.nbcnews.com/id/41154527/...horrors-alleged-abortion-clinic/#.UWr79spPhIk

I wish you would get over it already since what you're been posting has been proven false, over and over again. It's like you continually like about this issue when at anytime, with any story, I can point you to source you consider liberal. If fact, you use a lot of those sources throughout the thread.

What this guy was doing was illegal, aka against the law, hence the charges.

"never mind
Must have been something insignificant"

Provide sources please.

Short update on Republican Party as we knew it R.I.P.

Goes to what I said last year and not too long ago. If the Republican party stays to the right, will continually lose as America moves to middle/left. If they move in that direction as well, lose right. Some recent stuff backing that up:

Social conservatives warn Priebus they could abandon GOP

“This letter makes it perfectly clear that the GOP is caught between a rock and hard place. For decades, they’ve made a devil’s bargain with the Religious Right, and now they’re finding that they can’t reach out to moderate voters without totally alienating the base," said Michael Keegan, the president of People for the American Way, about the GOP's struggles. “There’s no question that continuing to pander to the Religious Right is a recipe for becoming a permanent minority party. We’ll see this week if the RNC is ready to contemplate making some tough changes or if they’re just going to keep drifting towards irrelevance.”

Tony Perkins To Conservatives: Don't Donate To GOP Until It Grows 'Backbone' Against Gay Marriage

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/12/tony-perkins-gay-marriage_n_3069298.html

Even the NRA with their little threats on gun control:
NRA threatens to punish lawmakers on gun control vote despite deal

http://nbcpolitics.nbcnews.com/_new...wmakers-on-gun-control-vote-despite-deal?lite

The party is splintering even more.

Sometimes you take a gamble and double down and it pays off.
The GOP is calling Ronald Reagan bipartisan now. I guess it's all relative.
