LOL...first laugh I had today not caused by my dog or the neighbor falling down a hill after blinding himself (temporarily) staring at the eclipse. (edit/add- neighbor is a friend...not really blinded, just too many PBR's---I don't enjoy others pain )

I wouldn't cause another man the suffering sharing her number would initiate...with the exception of that guy that backed out of a 4L sale recently...he and she would be great together (she had/has 3 personalities and only one was nice!).

Trump goes live in a couple of hours or so. Looks like an increase in troops, after a history of him wanting to get out.

What do you guys think we should do in Afghanistan? Get out completely. Increase troops. Stay at same level. I have no idea. Nobody has ever won in Afghanistan, Russia, U.S. nobody. And then what is a win even? We'll send in more troops but it'll be about the same. Thought we were training them so they can be on their own.

Should we stay or should we go now?
If we go, there will be trouble?
And if we stay it will be double?

WAPO just showing their bias once again and simply picking on Trump, who was squinting very very briefly. WAPO left out the rest of the Video where he, Melania and Barron use the glasses for a long period of time to look at the sun.

Why did they leave that out? If Obama did exactly the same thing, WAPO would never write a similar arcticle.

Actually you are quite on the money here. The battlefields in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and elsewhere are used to test new weapons and technologies like armory, drones, sigint/mass interception devices, etc.
And then the equipment is brought back home and used against civilian targets. So now you have tanks even in small cities, drones patrolling the skies (flying over your head right now), face recognition cameras spreading, IMSI catchers etc and the whole country is becoming a 'militarized' society. All these systems have been test-run somewhere before. You also need a convenient playground for some more toxic types of weapons (think depleted uranium or stuff like that).

A few improvements:

1) Moving away from the Vietnam era micromanagement, time based actions.

2) Pronounced Pakistan correctly.

3) Bringing India into help is a great idea. If Pakistan doesn't cooperate, India's influence in AG will become more important.
