I know you were responding to what someone else wrote but I must say I find it incredible that anyone with an ounce of intelligence would inject Michael Moore into any political discussion, not only is he a clown for the left but he's so irrelevant that not even the left uses his name anymore.

He knows as much about Guns as Barack Obama knows about Balancing a Budget.

I don't like him myself, but he does actually know a lot about guns. He grew up shooting them in Michigan, think he was real good as well, winning trophys and such.

OK, so then he is part of the problem that he talks about, since he is a white male that loves guns, who, according to him, is the most dangerous species living in the USA. Let me quote once again what he said:

There was a petition recently to throw Piers out of the US and there was a counter petition in the UK begging NOT to send him back to his homeland. They've already had enough of his Bull Shit in the UK.

I remember seeing that video a couple of weeks ago (actually another one on Sandy Hook that's in this video) and then it getting taken apart elsewhere. He does the same kind of thing Michael Moore does, just more of it. Take bits and pieces of interviews, videos etc. Edit it to whatever story he wants to make up. Hint at something, knowing his viewers are usually too lazy to do some actual research on their own, and let their minds go wild.

These conspiracy theory people always get their readers to believe it's the MSM that's pulling a fast one on them, when it's actually them. They might be just a little smarter than their readers, not much, but enough. Alex Jones is raking in the money, taking advantage of his big flock of lazy sheep.

In that case, and based on her theory, I have a suggestion. Why not send all the gang members of Chicago and other major cities in the US, to the northern part of Alaska, as close to the North Pole as possible and then in the summer months, send them down to the South Pole and have them count the Penguin colonies, just to keep them busy. :wave:

Voilá. Immediately you will have a 75% reduction in gun murders in the US.

If you look carefully, I do agree with what MicroGuy says about the MSM. Notice that in my reply the video does not show up, nor the content of the Video. There's no one that complains as much about the MSM as me on NamePros.

The Media is supposed to investigate and scrutinize those in power in an unbiased way, not to kiss-ass and co-operate with the government.

As for the Video Microguy put up, I did see only about half of it, because it was too long (17min). JBLions also put up a video (30 min) I think people should find shorter videos that basically say the same.

As for conspiracy theories, I don't really have much knowledge about them because they don't interest me very much. The one that I think was most talked about, the 9/11 theory about it being an inside job, quite frankly I find it ridiculous and had many arguments about it here in Madeira with people who believed in it.

I think JB Lions is right when he says that people who start these conspiracy theories are there to "rake in the money, taking advantage of their flock of lazy sheep"

I would also add that if the MSM did their job correctly and without bias, there would be little room for conspiracy theories.

As for Alex Jones, the first time I saw him was about 2-3 weeks ago when Piers Morgan interviewed him, or should I say, tried to interview him about gun control.

I was actually very happy to to see him blast Piers, who I regard as a pompous, arrogant, bully who thinks the sun shines out of his British ass and doesn't give people who disagree with him, a chance to give a full answer to his questions without being constantly interrupted and insulted.

Regardless of weather Jones is a whacko or not, it gave me great pleasure to see Piers Morgan get a bit of his own medicine. That's how he treats those who oppose his views.

I actually agree with most of what Piers says about gun control, I just don't like his bullying interview style and "Holier-than-thou" attitude towards those who argue against gun control. :td:

Piers should listen to both sides of the argument. He doesn't want to know what the other side has to say, just what he wants to hear, so it seems that Alex Jones came prepared to give him hell, by shooting in all directions, without caring too much about any eventual repercussions. In fact it probably gave him more publicity.

Anyone who gives Piers hell will make me happy :tu:

Piers has said publicly that the constitution and the second amendment are outdated. He basically wants all guns made illegal and for US gun laws to mirror those of Britain. The absolute truth is that Piers works for the same group that the president warned us about nearly 50 years ago in the video above.
