I don't think both candidates are sh*t.
The principles the country is founded upon are great. The rights that we have are great. Even the best built house needs maintenance and some things have been neglected. You don't need to tear down the whole house to fix some doors windows and peeling paint. Just roll up your sleeves, be a team and get it done.
Yes. I know. Thats what I mean. You have to fix your country. And you won't be able to do that until you stop wasting like 25% of your GDP on your army.
And yes, the principals, the rights your country is built upon are great. Great but out of date. For example, guns may be a right ensured by the constitution, but thats from the 18th century. In that time, every citizen NEEDED a gun to defend against the english, wildlife, native americans or whatever. In todays times, that is no longer needed. You have to update your constitution.
Also, yolu once were truly the most free nation on earth. But that is no longer true either. Look up Reporters without Borders, for example, the USA is behind alot of countries today in terms of Freedom of Press and other such freedoms.
Your house doesn't need to be teared down. But your house desperately needs to be modernized and for that you need to divert funds from your gun collection to your house fixing.
The USA has the biggest GDP in the world. But it spends more than 1/4 of it on the army. It doesn't need to do that. Even Russia and China together spend way less. The USA can just as well spend 5% (which would still be 1st. place) and it would still be enough to defend your country and allies. But then you would have so much money freed to modernize your infrastructure, schools, provide better healthcare without you going bankcrupt for being sick, etc.
You have the money to be the greatest country on earth, you just don't use it for that.
I really hope you understand what I mean.
