The Covid mortality rate within the two largest Canadian provinces is nearly representative of that in the US, so most people understand that stricter measures will be implemented until we can ensure a safe return to normal.

The US is loaning Canada 1.5 million doses of vaccine, “Ensuring our neighbors can contain the virus is our mission, critical to ending the pandemic.” The deal to share the vaccine does not affect Biden’s plans to have vaccine available for all adults in the United States by the end of May.

I understood the sarcastism, but IMO it is no joke. After having four positive cases and losing a community member to Covid, we've been under lockdown for a month, just lifted today. Life is now back to normal here, no cases. We can go about our business

If it is indeed a plandemic, whoever conceived and fueled conspiracy theories knew there would be a certain segment of the population that would not take the virus seriously and disbelief would prevail, regardless of facts presented.
