What choice did peeps have? Not win-win, but a lose-lose....pick better candidates.

They had a choice. They also could have insisted on election fairness and loudly rejected the destruction of free speech and fair elections implemented by Google, Twitter, etc. They could have stormed the capital to demand that politicians be accountable to the people.... oh wait, that's only allowed in democracies. Not in countries like Myanmar or the US.

Actually not fair to compare Myanmar to the US. The young people there actually care about democracy, and are willing to give their lives for it.

diversity clowns:) if there is such a thing as institutional racism in America this is it.

Yet Oaklland Mayor announcing the program is herself a self-loathing WHITE... she should resign and give her job to a minority, otherwise she's nothing but a hypocrite!

So, Democrats think that only minorities are poor? That they are too stupid to get an ID to vote. That they can't get ahead without the help of their white masters?

LOL, good one!

Did you happen to watch the trailer that followed? :watching:

"Young artists protest the Vietnam War. Young republicans protest the artists. The war goes on..."
(Mondo Bizarro)

Mine was followed by a Thai soap opera / love story.

The more corrupt the individual, the more welcome they are in the democratic party
Hyena cackling sounds intensify

In a way, I look forward to Harris taking over, wicked-witch cackle and all. Biden is so decrepit and lost, he evokes sympathy, which covers his crimes. He's like the old guy you find wandering in the neighborhood in his pajamas who can't remember where he lives. At least with Harris, she will allow the full depth of her party's depravity and arrogance to shine through. Her cackle will become a rallying cry for the minority of people left in the US who care about the country and have a few un-drugged and unwashed brain cells left.

With Harris, you will see their agenda in its full glory. She has no sense of compromise, and she owes a full debt to the elitists and secret agencies that made her VP. She will be ruthess. If that doesn't alarm people, then it will be too late anyway.

And she might bump off Willie Brown, which would be a fitting end for him.

They never turned off T's megaphone (he was always in front of the media 24/7). Nor did he have his accounts suspended until AFTER the election, and then only once the mob stormed the capital through his rousing persuasion. Why else would a mob storm the capital on the day the election results were verified? Joe hadn't even taken the oath of office.

I suppose things could have been more peaceful, or much worse even, yet even after all that, he was never held accountable. IMO, he accepted no responsibility to begin with. O_o

If her acting ability is no better than Barbarella's, Republicans might actually have a shot in '24. :xf.wink:

True enough just not ready for the cackling:)

but in the clown world.....

"Biden is displaying tremendous courage and strength proving exactly how he defeated Trump.
Strong, articulate, clear, and decisive answers in an open setting to the American People.
This is the champion we elected" :)

But they did block important news about Biden and his deals with Ukraine and China. They blocked the leading newspaper (NY Post) that dared to print the truth about Biden. They also buried positive Trump news, and put a relentless negative spin on everything he did. They also blocked numerous popular accounts of Trump supporters, but allowed anti-Trump fake news to flourish. All before the election.

The only people in the world who can't see that the tech/media giants are a threat to democracy are, ironically, the Democrats.

No doubt there was gag action and fake news, but with the deck stacked in his favour (Trump-appointed federal judges and Senators in his back pocket), one could hardly call it fair. O_o

Every incumbent has that advantage. And for Trump, being a political outsider with no DC network, this was less of an advantage than it usually is. Nobody "owed" him anything. Most judges in Myanmar oppose the junta - a lot of good that does. The junta have the guns and they own the media. Judges mean very little (except in the case of the ridiculously powerful and unaccountable Supreme Court, which was never meant to have the powers it has).

I suppose owning the federal judges could even be considered a liability, especially if they don't rule in your favour ie. dismissing his allegations of a stolen election. That only provides fodder for the media and sways public opinion. Had they backed 45, then the media could cry foul, a Catch-22.

Someone was so butthurt over this, an altered video was made for youtube of the match, but only of the times when women's national team had the ball possession to look superior to the boys to whom they lost.
