Keep in mind we need a party that is not beholden at all to either of the 2 present parties!

What was the Whig party and what did they believe?
The Whigs supported the supremacy of Congress over the executive branch and favored a program of modernization and economic protectionism, which the Democratic Party fiercely opposed. The Whigs also supported the policies of the American System.

3rd party candidates are losers. Trump wont do that. And the 'most votes win' case is too solid.

Since everyone (except for his followers) is working really hard to stop him, by whatever means available, and especially after all the backstabbing from the GOP I prefer to see him go 3rd party, because the media is really scared that he becomes the nominee.

The media is a lot more afraid of having a Trump vs Hillary contest, because he will have a much better chance of beating her than what the media is trying to convince everyone.

You see, if the media are telling us that Kasich is the only one able to beat Hillary, then it would be in their interest to see Trump win the GOP nomination instead of Kasich. That way Hillary would beat the shit out of Donald by 15-20% points as so many polls are suggesting.
