Yes. President Lincoln and I think President Woodrow Wilson both put journalist in jail.

Acosta blocked MS. Walters "not an intern" from taking the microphone twice. Once by physical contact which was an intentional act and not disputed.

WH could ban him for passing wind in the break room. He'd still be able to complain all he wants. Nothing to do with his #1A rights.

P.S. President Woodrow Wilson was a racist democrat.
