For those that may not have been aware, and with the increase of LLLL.coms becoming more valuable, and more auctions being conducted, the letter "y" is often referred to as a vowel. Someone who says my domain is worth more because it's a CVCV, or a buyer who may spend more because of it, should know a "y" is a vowel only when there is no other vowel present. Qaqy.com (a random example) is really a CVCC.

Ah "y". Forever the lament to be relegated to obscurity in the dabate over pronounciation and dictation.

Alas poor "y", for you toil on the ends of words
You shall not, henceforth, be vowel in the traditional sense.
Instead you shall suffer shame and indignation,
As you support both sides of the debate.

Farewell, fair "y" for you are always there,
But a part of neither side.

I'm an English major so...its reflex to dispell the purported truth. There are different schools of thought, so perhaps half may disagree.

IT's like: ZYBU.com, ZOTY.com, LYTU.com... that can be prononceable they worth as much as premium CVCVs

Of the group you mentioned, Zoty, is the best of the bunch. Also, because of the placement of the y, may be considered a vowel. Though premium CVCV.coms, can fetch $1,000 and above, the former is still not as valuable as a name like (example) Zotu.com. However, they are excellent investments and will increase their value over time.

this has been discussed here before in another thread...
the truth is that when you are promoting your LLLL you do what is better for you (the Y can be a vowel or a consonan)
i have YIUY.com... what is better for me, a VVVV.com or a CVVC.com?

if we talk about grammar, heres the answer :)

This is excellent! Rep points added (as long as the system allows me to.)
