Hi

For this, let's assume that .tel will not be a total flop.

What type of keywords will be most valuable for this extension? Will it be geographical keywords, like newyork.tel, losangeles.tel, etc, or what else?

Hello everybody,

Does anybody know where to find the best resources or tutorials for monetizing .tels?

I was also wondering, let say I own skateparks.tel and I list skateparks with their contact info and numbers; is there a way to see the number of pageviews for each contact, or the number of people directly calling by clicking the number on the page; basically something like adsense and/or analytics that shows clicks and pageviews per listing on my .tel domain.

And what if I want to go and get people or companies to pay a monthly or yearly fee to list their contact info on my .tel; is there a program or an application that helps for that purpose? Or would I have to make the contract myself to rent contact space on my .tel?

Thanks for any feedback!

Nope. Or rather I should say not yet.

My lips are sealed.

SEO Update

How is your SOE going for .tel? How high are you getting the .tel's for keywords?

My Updated .Tel Google Rankings:

Domain URL: eFile.tel
Keyword: ein efile
Rank: Google Page 1 Position 1

Domain URL: eFile.tel
keyword: refund efile
Rank: Google Page 2 Position 14

I also noticed that Google has indexed my acronym .tel (svc) as a semantic search to the term 'services' as I wanted.

So, this means there are yet more possibilities for this short, memorable .Tel!

Slowly, but surely, we'll top Google for our targeted keywords!

Hmmm.... Not set up to handle .tel's yet.... (the "emulator" that is...) NorthAmerica.tel works fine on a phone... but not so good on the "emulator" dot mobi site...

What does the title say on your phone?

yes you're right, after that Toyota ad, things really took off for the word over here, lol, it became a household name and lost most of its bad connotations. According to the flight of the concord boys, we've only recently begun promoting the telephone too as an everyday usable gadget... if that's the case then .tel is a rapid advancement and I'm, in all probability, the only kiwi telster at the mo. Thanks for your input my bigger and better neighbour :hearts:

Hi, great names like hire.tel were bought in landrush for about $300- $400, still not a bad bit of profit in these very early days. 550 names is a lot... are you for real, lol. I hope you are registering them with name.com now as they have been selling them for $8.95 since beginning of GA. Welcome to namepros by the way.. please give us some names you picked up. Cheers. :snaphappy:

550 x 19.99 is about 11,000.

Hire.tel was bought before GA, for $330, not 19 (according to whois). Is there a confirmation that transaction is complete? I see 11 whois changes on whois.sc

I've been checking the whois, and I haven't seen a change yet.
Sometimes sedo transaction takes time.
I've been waiting almost a month for one of my sale transaction to take place.
We'll see...
