It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it.

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

These absolutely formal restrictions were lifted in November, but the registration spike was fixed in February only... by Chineses... and is over already.
So no any correlation between "restrictions" and number of regs...
And still NOT supported by GoDaddy de facto... de jure only.

The spike could be caused by promotional price under $3.
I just found out that GoDaddy is also using .pro

The moment I check, It redirects to GoDaddy Pro Program page and the registrant name is Godaddy. Not Ukranian or anyone else.

This is one of examples End User has interest on .pro extension. Being used. Not being parked.
