It seems .PRO is slowly coming out of the cage with cheaper reg prices than they were a year ago and major registrars like netsol taking notice of the extension and promoting it. B-)

Here are some that I picked up in last couple of days:

Alexandria.pro

Anchorage.pro

Arlington.pro

Belfast.pro

Birmingham.pro

Budapest.pro

Durham.pro

Fairfax.pro

Italian.pro

Lisbon.pro

Fire away with your regs after the relaunch on September 8th, 2008.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
if you look in the past threads on namepros there has been many sales in the $x,xxx range, just not for some time now.
You said: reseller market. I don't see a reseller market for .pro domains now. The end user market is not thriving much either.

To a reseller or end user ? :gl:
Anyway, you'll find reported sales in almost any extension but not enough to make up a 'market'. That's what I'm saying.

To reseller!
Is it so hard to visit cloud.pro and/or to open whois???

And even personally I sold a couple of .PRO geodomains to resellers from mid $xx to mid $xxx.

Sales in .PRO are okay actually compared to the number of domain registered. The latter is of an issue between the registry and the registrars. The latters don't sell enough of .PRO, that's it.

It redirects to a domain sales website...
Say that we have ONE sale of .pro to a reseller. Anyone else ?

If mid-$$$ is the best you can do in .pro, I'll stick to .com and ccTLDs :gl:

mid $xxx resell-sales (to other domainers) are OK for me.
And you may even leave this thread forever with your demagogy!

So called VIP-theorists,

Just filter ALL .PRO domains @sedo (~16K at now).
Then sort them by bids.

Don't ruin people's dreams

Well I must be dreaming because most of my sales have been to end users. And don't ask me for a list. I'm not going to spend time in the archives.

gTLD's are coming out. toss any hopes aside for several years of any particular gTLD "standing out" including "good ones" that are already out now like .pro

Good News !

A few people hear have outstanding .pro domain names

Now all that needs to be done is to turn them into a profitable business...the tools are there and your entry level costs have fallen 90%

You cant have better news....

so a little work for a few years....we all know how to do that

For any TLD and .pro is no exception, the only good news is when we see enterprise level applications developed in that extension, imho.
