Justice Dept. won’t charge Andrew McCabe, the former FBI official who authorized the investigation of President Trump

Interesting that this announcement was made the same day the Justice Dept. had to release details of the investigation under the FOIA.

Some interesting things in those details.

Seems the DOJ prosecutors tried to get a grand jury to indict McCabe back in September but the jurors couldn’t find just cause.

Rather than let McCabe know he was clear back in September, they left him hanging until yesterday, when the details of exoneration went public.

The Judge in the case, a Bush appointee, had a few pithy comments about “people at the top” trying to dictate that someone be prosecuted - “I just think it’s a banana republic when we go down that road...”

In other news you haven’t heard:

Pompeo and Lavrov met in Munich yesterday. Story was broken by Russian journalists - USA had requesed no coverage by the American press. No statements, no press coverage, no photographers, nothing.

This isn’t the first time in this administration that the government blocked US press coverage of a meeting with Russian officials . What are they trying to hide from us?

Not one liberal in this forum was upset about McCabe not being charged for lying to the FBI.

After calling everyone who disagreed idiots and crying like ignorant children over AG Barr forcing democrat lawyers to withdraw a 9 year sentence recommendation for essentially the same crime; you'd think they would have noticed.

They didn't even notice when the DNC chief of security was sentenced to only two months in prison for leaking classified information and lying to the FBI.

Yep... it's like that saying... If it wasn't for double standards, they'd have no standards...

In other words, a never trumper let a man who admitted to lying go free because orange man bad. His punishment should have been worse, to set an example.

What are you talking about?

Yes, they were both there for a conference. If you read the article you linked to, they also had a meeting in Lavrov’s hotel room, at which the US requested there not be any photos or coverage.

Post from Lavrov’s spokesperson:

(Google translate is your friend.)

Kind of odd that US citizens first heard about this from the Russian journalists, no? Nothing from the state department? This is not the first time.

Why do you call that “fake news?” Because you posted the link and I didn’t???

Local radio station here in DC explained it this way:

The jury pool here in DC is totally corrupt. They voted 96% democrat in the last election. They absolutely hate Republicans and Conservatives.

In any trial where politics is an issue, a Republican will get the book thrown at him and a Democrat will walk.

In DC, Andrew McCabe could literally shoot a Republican on the front steps of the capital and walk away. This is what "above the law" really looks like. And prosecutors don't take cases to trial when they know with certainty they will lose, no matter what the evidence is.

DOJ Drops Investigation Against Andrew McCabe

Radical leftist staff demanding 'a return to segregation'

It's incredible to see radical, leftwing students and staff in the United States pushing "for a return to segregation" according to Sky News host Rita Panahi.

The University of Virginia has been forced to defend its diversity-focused centers after a video of a black student objecting to “too many white people” being in the Multicultural Student Center went viral.

Liberals would rather believe pravda than than the US State Dept.

Quoting the SOS; It was a pull aside meeting. We don't normally announce or release information about pull aside meetings.

You're making a mountain out of a mole hill because orange man bad. You should realize by now, the Russia collusion theory was a hoax. 2+ year investigation found nothing. The president isn't a Russian agent and Adam Schiff is a liar.

Are you kidding? Trump would rather believe Putin than his own State Department, literally thru them under the bus on stage.

And another day and you're still trying to compare different cases to each other, I guess this stuff goes over your head. Why not list all the things Stone was charged with in your next post, then the things people were charged with that you use in your examples.

Former employee says he heard Bloomberg ask a female co-worker if she was going to 'kill it' after announcing her pregnancy

https://www.yahoo.com/news/former-employee-says-heard-bloomberg-173100774.html

I was fully expecting this stuff to start when Bloomberg actually became a legit contender, there will be much more to come

Sanders is still picking up steam moving toward the 2020 election
