*This thread was created using the NEW NamePros Thread Maker*

Well, I've received a lot of requests for making a NamePros Thread Maker for FireFox, so here it is!

Instructions:
1. Download the program using the link below
2. Save it to your hard drive.
3. Open
4. Enter Thread Subject
5. Enter Message Body Text
6. Choose the section where the thread will be located (every section is there!)
7. Choose your current default browser
8. Press "Post Thread Now"
9. Wait for your thread to be posted (takes up to 15 seconds) - DO NOT press ANY key or ANY mouse button until you see that your thread has been posted, or else it may not work
10. Enjoy
10a. Make a donation to me... (optional )

New version includes:
1. Support for Internet Explorer, FireFox, and Netscape
2. Bug fixes
3. Faster posting
4. Great, better look!
Just give this program a little try. It won't hurt you in any way just to try.
This program is free, but donations to me are very much welcomed, as this program to a long time to write.

Download here *UPDATED*:
http://home.ripway.com/2005-7/347017/NameProsThreadMakerv2.0.exe - For Windows only

If you would like to see any new features, or see any bugs, please PM me.

Thank you.

You should put all the forums in the drop down box to make it much easier for us :)

Otherwise, it's a good program can't really think of a thread to post so i can't really say if it works or not...

Auto it, requires the same mouse coords doesnt it? And the same setup... as the creator of the program (screen resolution ect... ect..)

I mean a lot could have changed with autoit from the last time i used it... which was 2 years ago...

All the forums ARE in the drop down list, no? What forums are you talking about?

Can you please tell me what didn't work/what went wrong? It's strange that it works for some people and not for others...

Also, I have no idea what you're talking about (the mouse coordinates); you used a very old version of autoit, and a LOT changed since back then.

Neither :)

Alright, I think I know why it's not working for some of you. The pages for you loads much slower, and it starts typing in the text you put before it even loads. So, I'm gonna give it more time to load. But for those of you that have very fast internet connection (like me) the page will load but nothing will happen for a long time. It is because it will be waiting a little bit longer (just in case if the page hasn't loaded yet). I'll give the page... say 15 seconds to load? Will that be enough for most of you? Maybe 20? Right now it's set at 8 seconds.

Also, axilant, which browser were you using?

Thanks. I'll post the updated version soon.

LOL, ok. The thing is, as soon as you press "Post Thread Now" it has to run smoothly like it is planned to. If you press ANYthing, it's gonna mess the whole order up, possible typing the text you typed in before into the address bar. Also, if some kind of popup pops up, it will also mess up the order.

As soon as you press Post Thread Now, only NamePros should startup, and nothing should be clicked, and nothing new should come up from anywhere. I think that you should try it again :)

Also, try closing all instances of firefox before posting. This might not be the problem, but try it anyway.

Let me know what happens!

P.S. And thanks for this btw, you really are helping me with my knowledge of programming.

Sorry for ruining this thread, but can you tell me what is the point of downloading this program when you can already post new threads and post from NP? :-/

It just makes posting a little quicker :) Instead of opening the browser, typing in namepros.com, and going to your specified forum, you just open this program, and in the end, it opens namepros for you, so you're already there with one/two clicks of a button. Plus, when post using the program you get your NP for posting anyway. Also, it was fun making, and I learned a lot from making it. It might not be all that useful, but I personally think it was worth making.

And now, I added some code to the program, and now NOTHING can go wrong; you can have a million programs open, click all you want, and whatever; it will work no matter what. I updated the link in the original thread.

Sounds awesome, I'll have a check of it later when i have a spare few minutes ;)

Cool, thanks! Let me know how everything goes. Remember, there's no going back as soon as you press the post button lol. \

And, like I said before, tell me if you think something needs to be fixed; it's not neccessarily for you, but for me to learn. Actually, I realized, it's pretty annoying not having the codes and stuff to look at (such as quotes, url, code tags, etc)... maybe I should add that...

Thanks

P.S. (Wow, I'm really getting into this programming thing... I could actually make something useful and make money... interesting!)
