File management (download) computer question - Help

quick question:

when you download a program (let's say an antivirus program, a new browser like opera, firefox etc)...

after i click on the .exe to INSTALL, can i DELETE the original .exe file?
(assuming everything installs fine, the program works, it's all good)

can i delete that "setup" file .exe?

Yes you can delete the downloaded setup file once you have the program installed and running.
