:hi: Guys!

I'm actually really interested whether there is any value in
LLLLL (5) .COM, .NET, .ORG, etc?
...
For sure NNNNN (5) are VERY valuable as zip codes for example! :tu:
...
Anyone sell any?
...
Also, would someone who likes scanning PLEASE come up with a list of LLLLL.COM available names? ;)
...
THANKS in advance! :tu:

.US domains.US domains
Many years ago when I needed to unwind from the stress of school, I would sift through all the dropping LLLLL's looking for great sounding names used by international corporations with no US trademarks. These were the types of names people used to wipe dog doo off their shoes with.

5 years later I now sell them for $3-7K each, and I have over 400 of them. I don't feel so dumb now, but did people make me feel stupid back then.

Yeah, unfortunately there are a lot more as I call them "Haterz" now that they've realized they missed out! ;)
...
That's why I started this thread now...early...I know LLLL(4).COM's are still not all taken yet, but I really think LLLLL(5).COM's will also be Huge...especially the pronouncable ones and ones with premium letters!
...
All L-L-L.COM's are now OFFICIALLY GONE...and it takes the SAME EXACT AMOUNT of keystrokes to type a LLLLL.COM! :)
...
I didn't start this thread for kicks...I really believe LLLLL(5).COM's are the next Big Thing! :tu:

One thing that happenned with LLLL.com domains for those who wanted to get good acronyms were that names with certain letters ran out.

1st (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,L,M,N,O,P,R,S,T) - 17^4 combinations
2nd (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,L,M,N,O,P,R,S,T + K) - 18^4 combinations
3rd (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,K,L,M,N,O,P,R,S,T + W) - 19^4 combinations
4th (A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,K,L,M,N,O,P,R,S,T,W + U) - 20^4 combinations
etc...

not 100% sure on the order of the letters includes.

If the same thing happens with LLLLL.com, A smaller pool of letter needed to be started with as there is a lot more combinations for each added letter. I see A,C,S as the most popular followed by E, I, and T but better research may identify more significant letters.

e.g
1st (A,S,C) - 243 combinations
2nd (A,C,S + E) - 4^5 combinations
3rd (A,C,E,S + I) - 5^5 combinations
4th (A,C,E,I,S + T) - 6^5 combinations
etc...

Also domains with 4 superpremium letters (A,C and S) are interesting.

However, I do find that 5 letter acronym domains are a lot less popular than 5 letter pronounceables.

Now I am no hater and I am looking at some LLLLL.com right now, but how far does it go ? 6 is only one more letter than 5 oh well 7 is only one more letter than 6.

2,3 and even 4 letters are used as Acronyms imo there is the increased value they bring to the table. Most companies use an acronym in some parts of their marketing, advertising.

If I am going to look at an LLLLL.com someone wants $7000 for and it is a made up word I will add a letter and spend $7.

Again I think there is some value like VURG mentioned Letter selection is even more important here.

I just do not believe there will be a reseller value for many years as there is plenty of supply. Again IMO

Umm...yes...but in reality ACRONYMS end with 2 or 3 Letters...are there that many 4 letter acronyms?
How about 5 letter acronyms?
...
FOR SURE, though, NNNNN(5) are valuable zip codes! :tu:

i also have some 5L.com
i reg'd PREMIUM CVCVC.com pnly and i think they are really good

if you think about PREMIUM CVCVC.com we have 13 consonants (B, C, D, F, G, H, L, M, N, P, R, S, T) and, according to the guides, 4 vowels (

Cool!
...
I know we can take it to 6, 7, 8, 9...maybe in future years...but for now it still IS about brevity and 5 is the next best thing after 4! :tu:

I still love CVCCV.com with repeated C.

(e.g. Yoddi.com, Hiffo.com, Pubbi.com...)

Most of the good ones were gone at the start of the year.

Any chance of a scan list of available premiums?
...
Also, how many NNNNN.COM's are left...anyone know?

THANKS!!!

Premiums - That's over 1.4 million domains! Not interested.

How about filtering the premiums down to preferred letters 1st.

My favourite 8 letters are A,C,D,E,M,I,S and T. With these letters there are only 32768 combinations. Further analysis of the names (determining an approx % of the developed domains) should highlight if the 32768 names are worth buying.

A lot more care needs to be taken with 5 letter names than 4 as the reseller market is not going to be as large and good justifications are needed to highlight why a domain is to be considered "low risk" to investors.

didn't want to do it!

I've been looking at two LLLLL.coms in my field. Didn't want to but felt compelled to.. these are related to the field I work in just registered
ebldr dot com and ibldr dot com I figure some day they might pay off. :$:

My point exactly - we are talking about 5 letter combos that mean absolutely nothing. I cannot imagine why any business would spend xxxx on a name, when they can get an equally cool sounding name for reg fee, or as the OP said, simply add another letter to their name that means nothing, yet whose value will only be found in site development.

Unless their prounceable, LLLLL's arent gonna reach their potential for along time imo. 3-4 years and perhaps they'll start gaining some decent value, imo.
