We need this one too guys :)

This guide will also help LLLL.com holders to understand more the value of their 4 letters .com based on how expensive the similar 3 letters .com are.

From:

http://3character.com/priceguide.html

Pricing Guide for 3-Letter (Composed Of Letters Only) Domains:

Current Observed Minimum Wholesale Price (regardless of letter combo) as of February 1, 2008:

3-Letter .com - $6700 (+ $300 since January 1, 2008 report)

But I consider their guide a bit old since they are not taking in consideration the emergenging countries that appreciate other letters and as we have run a poll here several times lately, the majority of people consider the letters U
and W to be Premium letters.

Let`s have a look at some recent LLL.com sales as reported from NameBio.com :

another interesting case of an end-user changing to a longer domain and selling his LLL.com.

NuNet Inc/CrossLink.net had the domain NNI.com. They seem to change their business to a cloud based one and started using NCX.com. meanwhile they started announcing that they had domains for sale:

https://www.ncxcloud.com/available-domains.html

NNI.com was bought in 8/2015 by BrokerageFirm. NCX.com was sold also and sold again in 12/2015 to a chinese domainer.

the company move their main website to ncxcloud.com

more interesting stuff.

HFH.com was announced last night that was going up for auction on NameJet. however the WHOIS has changed yesterday to SEDO's transfer service.

maybe the push to auction was a tactic to make a prospective buyer make a move to buy the domain.

note that HFH.com was sold on an expired auction at GoDaddy for $163k but the sale was canceled because the owner renewed the domain after been alerted to its value, despite every blog and site marking this as a confirmed sale.

the domain was with the owner for another month which suggests that it waited for an offer way above $30k.

that offer came from someone using NameSilo.

EQV.com $47,500 GoDaddy - Thats high - not premium in English or Chinese. They keep going up, cant last but it only takes a few investors to move the market up, with so few names left in the wholesale market. I estimate 5,000 possibles out of 17,500 that could swill around between domainers at wholesale prices. Others are either developed or being held by long term investors who will only sell above wholesale prices.
Only need a 500 long term investors holding 10 names each, to squeeze supply like an OPEC cartel to put upward pressure on prices.

Hmm, and how's OPEC squeezing now?

Exactly, there's only few countries in OPEC and they rarely agree with each other. What are the chances 500 individual investors will agree on something?

Ha Ha. Its if they have the same mindset to be long term investors, it doesn't take many to have an effect of pushing prices up.

eqv.com is a special case because it is expired and may have a pump and dump strategy behind.

it is owned by BrokerageFirm and they will renew the domain now...

another example is tvq.com
