More than I expected (but a LOT less than many here predicted), yet until we know who the Buyer's are and what their specific plans are for development (as well as mTLD ensuring and enforcing that development) ... and as well as the completed, final dispositions from the auctions, it's worth keeping in mind - for perspective - that one SINGLE domain, Loans.com, sold for $3,000,000 in year 2000, IMHO.

Did Loans.com have development restrictions? Nope.
Do we know the exact extent to which these Sedo .MOBI auctions Rules For Development will be enforced? Nope.
How much did Loans.mobi sell for in 2007, and to whom? :blink:

Righto, and that's why free open markets are, over time, efficient ... but that's not what is occurring here presently, IMHO. This is a niche ... a very brief and narrow market with those being involved in that market (with similar goals and interests) bidding against one another, perhaps having bid together in the past, as well. The point is ... until we know who the Buyer's are and what their specific plans are for development and promotion of these websites - AND perhaps most importantly - the extent to which these Sedo .MOBI auctions Rules For Development will be enforced, at $800,000+, comparatively, it's not quite as impressive at first blush, IMHO. :blink:
Sedo and mTLD did well, though!
