.mobi Negative publicity for Sedo doesn't influence current .mobi aftermarket prices

With a few hours to go, the auctions of EEE.mobi and GGG.mobi are going strong. It seems that the negative publicity about Sedo regarding the last online premium .mobi auctions doesn't matter to the aftermarket prices.

EEE.mobi is on 1,555 and GGG.mobi received a few bids today: it went from $ 2,051 to $ 5,000 this afternoon. Comparable names like RRR.mobi and FFF.mobi sold a lot cheaper last week: $ 2,050 and $ 610. On dotMobiz.com you can find all the links to the current .mobi auctions on Sedo, so you can check the bidding history after the auction has ended.

If these numbers prove correct, they will also be an illustration of the inefficiency (in the financial sense) of the aftermarket and the consequent opportunities therein.

eee.mobi is $100 higher now, but still much lower than ggg.mobi (at $5,000) with much less time to go.

Bidder 7 joined the action recently, but Bidder 3 appears to have a higher proxy bid (triggered immediately upon Bidder 7's bid).

Edit: Bidder 3 got a good deal in the end, and we'll probably never know how high their proxy bid was (unless of course one day a Sedo insider decides to write a detailed history of the early days of dotMobi and doesn't mind some controversy to sell more copies, not).

Well ,THC.mobi just sold for $3,700 on Sedo Auction. If that doesn't answer your question binaryman that nothing will. I must say that THC is a part of Marijuana so that may have had something to do with the price but who cares nice ++++++++++++for .mobi

Just looked at the bidding history - it seems to have taken Bidder 6 and Bidder 7 about an hour to get to $3,700 - mostly in extended time due to late bids.
