Anyone else like the new updated wordpress????
POS I say!
So far, I can find that I can only input ONE image at a time in a post, unlike before when I could add as many as I needed at once....
Plus the freaking blocks, block this and block that and sorry that you need to delete entire paragraphs but we will make it hard for you to do so.
BOSTON—Expressing deep disappointment as their beloved series begins to come to a long-awaited conclusion, crestfallen Game Of Thrones fans reported Monday their realization that the show is never going to show dragons f*cking. “I’ve put hundreds of hours of my life into this series, and now it seems it’s all been a waste,” said self-described Song Of Ice And Fire “superfan” Aaron Tremaine, 31, recounting how his initial excitement at the beginning of each new season shifted to sadness after being repeatedly deprived of steamy dragon-on-dragon sex. “Of course, I didn’t expect it to happen in the very first scene of the pilot, but I figured it had to happen eventually. They spent so many episodes building up the whole ‘will-they-won’t-they’ tension with Drogon and Rhaegal, and now it seems like it’s never going to pay off. It’s devastating, especially as I’m told it’s such a big part of the books.” Tremaine, like many fans of the show, remains optimistic that the final episodes may include some dragon oral sex or “at least some claw stuff.”
From the ONION
Canada post for today:
The real reason Boeing's new 737 Max plane crashed twice...
On @GILSAN 's island.. bus plunges off road, many tourists killed. Mostly German.
Terrible tragedy. These buses can get "top heavy", especially when careening around the crazy mountain roads, with no barriers installed along the edges. Down in Central America, same deal. Vehicles going off the mountains, thin winding roads.
Happy Easter to all...
End of february, or at the start of march, I got a plugin for my blog to change the login page.
To date, nothing has tried to login to my blog.
Except for a tiny bit (3 people), wednesday, when I had to disable all plugins to find out why I could not access my admin side.
So back to no one getting into admin side or trying to, as anyone using the regular wordpress admin login is redirected to my index page.
Same with spam comments.
To date, not one spam comment...and without the use of a plugin.
All I did at the time was just disable comments for about 5 days.
Now to go to my blog and put down what happened yesterday at the doctor consultation.
Oh, just got back a bit ago from getting new footwear.
Damn, I swear each time I go and get new footwear, the price has increased! 1/
Wife also got her new footwear (that's a given for sure).
Got my footwear at half off though.
For my wife's footwear was 1 cent more than mine!
Thanks for your post. Indeed it was a tragic day for Madeira and all those that died. One of the severely injured died today raising the toll to 30. All but 2 were German tourists on their way to a popular restaurant for dinner.
Apparently it was caused by either brake failure or the accelerator getting stuck. Witnesses say that the driver tried to ram the bus into a wall to stop its descent, without success.
As you can see from the picture, the tumbling bus was stopped by a house, which actually prevented it from being an even worse tragedy, as a little further down was a restaurant with a couple dozen people.
May they RIP...
Yeah, could never do that.
I think I posted about it before but when I was a kid went up to Hitler's Eagle Nest, now just called Eagle Nest on a bus. Scariest ride ever. Buses would be ripping around the curves, had to stop to let other buses pass at some places. Couple of pics, I had window seat. I don't think that barrier is stopping any bus:
to see this:
"The Kehlsteinhaus (known as the Eagle's Nest in English-speaking countries) is a Third Reich-era building erected atop the summit of the Kehlstein, a rocky outcrop that rises above the Obersalzberg near the town of Berchtesgaden. It was used exclusively by members of the Nazi Party for government and social meetings. It was visited on 14 documented instances by Adolf Hitler, who disliked the location due to his fear of heights, the risk of bad weather, and the thin mountain air."
Some @johname bait
@GILSAN thx for details. Good on the driver for doing what he could.
Hope the procedures all work out for you. Excellent to say the least that you will be as an outpatient, no hospital visits. That certainly helps takes a lot of stress out of the ordeal.
Yup your right those concrete rail guards would likely not do much, depending on angle and speed, especially for a larger vehicle like a bus.
Know what you mean about scary rides on those kinds of curves, its the hail mary every time..
