Thinking of getting new computer, this one is from 2011, Dell XPS. Been having issues last few days. I figure 6 and a half years, good run.
One of these 2:
16 GB Ram
Intel Core i7-6700
1TB HDD Storage
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti
or this one:

Dell - Inspiron Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 1700 - 16GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 580 - 1TB Hard Drive - Recon Blue
Any tech people, which one do you think is better?
f*ck, just froze up again after I typed the above. Gotta pick something up next couple of days. 3 different blue screens of death today. Froze up multiple times, had to shut power on and off. Then sometimes screen just mismash of colors. Probably 10-12 times today. Then sometimes I takes me like 10-20 or turning computer on and off to get back online.
Dell XPS or Dell Inspiron Ryzen.
Took me awhile to get this one.
What always extended my computers runs was doing a total factory disc rewrite (which wipes the hard drive and makes the computer as you brought it home). This Would make the computer run perfectly and make it so the only reason to buy another computer is the speed and storage advancements.
I hated to reset computers and only did it when I had to. There always something you forget to save, a file a password a setting.
Unless you are being bottled neck as a ultra gamer or rendering in 3D or 4k video production... You probably dint need the step up. Just a fresh computer set up.
Myself I would center on the CPU and the graphics card, and fast boot solid state hard drive. Certain things that I would want (like a usb 3) would probably now be on both systems you are looking at. So you end up looking at CPU and Graphics card. Intel usually the safe way to go.
Ordered that one, pickup later. 1 left. I asked, if I just came into the store, will it be ready, yes. Can't get there now but in a couple of hours. But somebody could buy it before I got there they said. So I order online, then can I go to store and get it. No, it might take an hour or so. Computer froze up twice already in last 15 minutes.
Oh, football today. My Falcons vs. @DU Eagles.
Ready for pickup.
Had our EMachine now for going on 7 years...maybe 8 years?
Anyways, long ass time.
So far, not one damn problem.
Typing from new computer. Left at 3, so about 1 hour 20 minutes from leaving to online. New MS browser. Will spend the rest of the day hooking stuff up. Checking out Windows 10
Like JN mentioned, the freezing and BSOD are OS problems, not the fault of your 'puter.
The XPS was a better choice imo. That is a bad azzed box.
I'm not a fan of AMD.
Don't let all that new power go to your head, remember, with great power comes great responsibility.
Please tell us about win10 and the new browser as you get used to it.
Interesting. I also have an EMachines E442 Laptop that was offered to me by a family member because it was overheating and taking forever to run programs. After formatting the disk and installing Win7 in 2016 or maybe 2017, it then automatically updated to Win10, and is running fine. I use it mostly to make risky tests and experiments..
I'm actually using it now, testing a Toshiba 1TB external HDD which is giving me trouble when I try to copy paste files on to it, as it's taking forever to do it.
What is it about cats and cucumbers?

Windows 10 - this new one
First 3 were destroyed by adware/spyware, testing and such.
Just finished big update. Looks like it's going to take awhile to setup everything, what a headache. Saved Firefox booksmark file, imported, it's a mess. My Eset security went over fine. My Roboform didn't, just bought a new licence, will have to login everywhere once to save it all again. Had Microsoft 2010 Excel Professional, brother hooked me up with keys, so that's not working. Using Apache Open Office instead I guess. I guess I need to try a download for that specific year not 2016, don't know how all that works.
Beginning to realize maybe my like for "stop motion"...started here
I think this form of stop motion filming is called "Clay Animation"?
lol..thanks for answering my question..in your own unique and interesting way!
Was curious myself..
Dr. Roger Mugford, a specialist in animal behavior, told the Telegraph: “I think that the reaction is due to the novelty and unexpectedness of finding an unusual object secretly placed whilst their heads were down in the food bowl.”
Cats are shown to be suspicious of anything that moves rapidly, makes a lot of noise, or lights up erratically: essentially, anything that they don’t fully understand, which isn’t really that different from most animals, including humans. It’s also worth noting that cats are mostly solitary animals, and humans are as sociable as animals can be – so they’re baffled enough by us as it is. Freaking them out with unexpected cucumbers probably isn’t helping."
Noticed that cats/babies compilation seem to go viral easier than other forms of video (that can be viewed on Youtube ..lol)
Congrats. Falcons didn't deserve it this year.
I'm picking Steelers over the Jags and Vikings over Saints, so should be..........
Steelers vs. Pats
Vikings vs. Eagles
