The Domain Event Horizon Theory *

The foundation of the theory is that when depressed, domainers tend to fiddle with their computer, and when they do, they inevitably open their list of domains. To cheer themselves up, they might buy themselves a new domain or two. Thus, in a generally depressed domainer society, demand for domains will rise.

In the critical condition, demand for domains rises faster than the supply of good quality unregistered domains. As unregistered domain quality decreases, the demand increases further because domainers get ridiculed in the various forums' Appraisals section and thus - to maintain overall portfolio quality - need to be replaced more often; as the demand for domains increases, alternative extensions and cheap registration rates causes available domain quality to drop even more. What results is a spiral of increasing domain demand and decreasing available domain quality. Eventually, this destabilises internet economy to the point where it is "no longer economically viable to build anything other than domain registration companies", and online society collapses.

1) Realize that this is a very real problem.
2) Realize that you have the problem.
3) Realize you can not solve this problem alone.
4) Realize that you are not alone, and that there are people who have been though this, like you, who can help.
5) Realize that to really be helped, you have to be willing to change (or give up) whatever (in this case domains) it takes to resolve the issues at hand.
6) Seek professional advice (I am a professional.)
7) Promise, like an alcoholic or drug-addict going "clean", that you will never register another domain again - this is a life-time commitment to go "clean" from your domainer addictions.
8) Give me all of your domains (send registration login info. to the email listed below), so that I can dispose of them in a safe manner (which prevents other domain-addicts from obtaining these dangerous domains) - PROBLEM SOLVED :tu:

This leaves you free of the domainer depression, saves you money on renewals and worthless registrations, and keeps you from contributing to a damaging of the economy.
