    maybe the original buyer let it go on purpose just so he can get it at an auction for less. He couldn't live with himself knowing what he paid for it the first time. :xf.eek:

    The end user really needs to be interested in the name to get a decent price -

    I think the days of startups with unlimited capital are long gone

    - do the kidz want to pay a Mike Mann Millions

    for Tumbler.com and Flicker.com

    NO. tumblr and flickr

    will do nicely.

    Then there is BOX.com - I think it went for $3 Million - but it matches their stock symbol, and everything.

    Or sell the domain name,
    Often it's just a momentary thought,
    I might not want to buy it after a minute

    Interesting take, there is buyer's remorse, I have purchased a few and then thought the next day, I really did not want to spend $1,000 on that.

    I do it all the time,
    Sometimes I think about it the next day but I didn't buy it the day before,
    The seller should be thanked for not selling yesterday
