I have been using DropCatch.com club for some time. I have never complained, since I entered the game knowing their rules and that some of my club backorders go to their "partner", but lately it seems I cannot get even low value names. Just to give you an example, the last 10 names I backordered look as follows:

7 Caught by "Partner"
2 went to auction
1 Missed

I am starting to feel I am just doing search work in vain, to alert and feed DropCatch's "partner". I will have to reconsider my choices and options.

What's your experience?

There aren't two Partner labels, just one. You can lose the domain to "Partner" or to another regular backorder, in which case it is not called partner, but $59 backorder or a discount backorder higher to yours. That is not a partner and I am perfectly fine with that.

I think you misunderstood my question.

Reason I asked is that I have never lost to a 'partner' on a regular backorder which leads me to believe that said message comes up when we lose to someone that have placed a same priced discounted BO earlier than we did.

In short, I believe it's a wrongly set system message for 'someone beat you for the same BO price just because they bid earlier than you' thing

Ofc I could be wrong but that's how I always treated that message.

The Partner is just using your research and picking up these domain for $8 each. I'm surprised you ever caught any DropCatch Discount Club Backorders. Any you caught must have been pretty bad if DropCatch/HugeDomains didn't want them.
