It's been a crazy couple of days and a lot of fun too, but it wouldn't be correct to get back to real life without saying a big

THANK YOU

to all you lovely TV enthusiasts that we find on NamePros. :hearts:

I'd especially like to thank:
Equity78 - Your guidance about .tv is exemplary and your unbiased opinion, plus the fact that you even take time out to help everyone is really appreciated.
MattheP - For the list and the tips.
discovernow - for your support.
on!SPOT and etittle52 - for the advance info
MrRhee - for your time machine
the dot stop - for your inputs

As well as the countless others who contributed to our knowledge including JimboJimbo, MillersCrossing, domainacrobat, donnied79, dottvfan, vJRB, nicedomains, Len, freedom30, TwoMoon... I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of people here, but you know who you are.

I'd also like to thank Jeff and snoop for providing counter arguments and allowing people to see the other side of the picture, at times like these a restraining hand can be a blessing.

I'm also grateful to Name.Com for their exceptional service at this time, Paul Carter was really helpful and extremely responsive even though I'm sure there must have been a deluge of emails and phones to him over the last few days.

Thank you ALL for helping me and 100s of others who came here looking for information and help with regards to the relaunch. The way you guys embraced outsiders and outliers should be a lesson worth emulating for those involved in other TLDs too.

Everyone has been extremely helpful and the conversations have been extremely stimulating. Thank You!

...and we would indeed be remiss if we did not extend our sincere thanks and kudos for maintaining the standards of this forum. Indeed, it may seem a thankless job but the mods here have performed admirably as the resiliency of this board shows.

Thanks, Samit et al, your first class treatment of your members is noted and appreciated!

I am still waiting to hear back from Paul @ name.com about some of the premium domains I picked up for reg fee. I'm sure he's on a well deserved weekend break but I can't wait to pay the extra $$$ to keep these .tv domains in my account ;)

It's been a wild ride and it's been a lot of fun to read the heated discussions. Keep the spirit alive and lets all continue to get along :)

Thank You Samit!

This Forum really came to life and it has been an extremely fun ride.
Funny thing is, I believe we've only just begun.

Your O.P. clearly shows why you are a Team Leader here.
It is much Appreciated :)

It has been a fun ride....I just got lost in all the threads..."what did I post in this tread?......Oh yeah!"

This forum went from dead in the water to more popular than the 'domain name discussion' forum for about 24hrs. I am just a little disappointed at myself because I thought this was a scam or something else so I only registered a 2 when I really wanted about 4 or 5......now I am very pleased with the 2 I got but I need to be a little less skeptical and just do it if there is ever a next time....

Oh well, you win some and lose some and I think of this experience as a win and a loss, but mostly a win.

Keep in touch all and I wish everyone luck and I hope this turns into a "BIG" money maker for all involved!

Eric

Thanks for this post Samit :)
During these crazy days/nights all people at Subforum tried to help each other, it was really great.
Most of people were waiting for kind of revolution. Now we've got it :)
Let's see now what influence would it have on the .tv market.

Totally. :tu:

I think you're probably right.

With those two Eric, you have nothing to worry about, like money in the bank.

Yes it was, the way people helped each other prompted this post in the first place.

Cheers!

Well said Samit :tu:

I tend to tip toe into the .TV forum now and then :P

Great bunch :loveyou:

I have always had hope in this extention and see it being used more and more in the UK. Domaining in general has suffered in many ways for many months but I do like the feel of the buzz around .TV

As I have already posted in another thread, nobody can see into the future and I wish any invester in which ever chosen extention they have invested, great success.

Every extention has its fans and anti's life is full of balance and it's great we can all have opinions :)

Good luck everyone

I completely agree...I have not been at namepros this much since I started domaining. This past year has been nearly dead on the domain scene for me (not to many reg's), so I decided to become a developer....I love that aspect of the business, I just want to learn php or aspx and mysql and then it would come full circle.......

Now domaining is fun again....I am just glad I had a chance to be a part of this...IT WAS AMAZING!

I think anyone who just got the names debt and tech at reg fee would definitely suggest it had been amazing!

Great names and I think you deserve them. I am positive you had a bIG hand in drawing many others into this area of Namepros - well done, and a big thanks.

I completely agree with you JimboJimbo. He had a big hand in drawing others into this section of the forum. Thanks to etitle52, I was able to register some amazing names during GoldRush. Without his post I wouldn't have known that there was a GoldRush going on.
