Hey,

First, I want to make clear that the following site is NOT mine, nor affiliated with me in any way. A designer I know recently showed me this and I figured I'd pass along the tip.

http://browsershots.org/

Browsershots makes screenshots of your web design in different browsers. It is a free open-source online service created by Johann C. Rocholl. When you submit your web address, it will be added to the job queue. A number of distributed computers will open your website in their browser. Then they will make screenshots and upload them to the central server here.

A quick note, though, if your site has "invalid" SSL certificates, you'll get a bunch of screenshots of the error message, not your site. (*grumbles and wishes CACert would be universally accepted*)

Enjoy. I hope this helps.

Agreed, I have used this site in the past and it really is an excellent resource... No comparison for checking your sites thoroughly yourself but a very good resource for checking obscure or old/lower version browsers!

Very nice, I wasn't aware of this, but figured something had to be out there. One of those things you think of but never really search for.

Buy a better cert! :p

Nothing *wrong* with the cert, it's just that browser overkill the threat a bit.

I always get a certificate error using the latest version of Firefox. Firefox 3 Beta 5.
