I want to focus on creating a few nice mini-sites in my spare time...

This is one of the first... I would love to hear your ideas/opinions...

I just did a little work on it so i wouldn't waste alot of time, I will gather ideas here and then move forward...

basically it is a information site for technicians, I figure it fit the domain and extension well... also I kept the color to a minimum because i felt it would help keep the information feel of the site, nothing fancy or flashy, would give the sense that the site is really just for info....

http://www.technicians.info

I look forward to hearing from you.

One other question would be as follows:

I could use some extra money, so my thought was to maybe finish creating a few of these mini-sites and then try to sell some mini-sites. What would be a good price for me to chanrge for a similar site. Where i would install say joomla, then could pick a premade template from somewhere, I would then configure joomla, layout the page, plug information, feeds, ads, etc into the site. I mean I know its not rocket science, but i would leave people with a site developed and ready for them to use the easy CMS admin site to add additional info.

I mean could I charge say $50/$75/$100/$125 for something like this or is it just to simple for other people to do? I would love to get to a point where I could be busy every night doing one site a day....

here are some other examples of my work...
* StockQuote.biz
* LinuxInformation.com
* BackTrackLinux.com
* FlashGameTime.com
* InvestmentFirms.net
* MepisLinux.com

Thanks

great name... The site is really plain but I think it seems to work with what you are using it for. I was expecting to see a directory of technicians around Canada or the USA but the site is pretty nicely done.

Well you luckily got the nice domain name ... Your website is clean and simple but you need to update it more as its still kinda new

This makes a very good portfolio site. But I would advise more content.

Maybe a glossary would work well or some tech terms.

Would it be too cheesy to suggest a toolbox or wiring graphic?

I thought about something on those lines, problem is a toolbox woudl work for an HVAC tech but not a pharmacy tech, a wire would work for an electric tech but not an xray tech. that was my roadblock...
