My historical opening rate for an average 100 sent mails: 60%
Last 3 days opening rate for an average 100 sent mails: 5%

Using Gsuite, personal domain as email.

Am I got flagged?

Those of you who frequently doing outbound marketing, have you ever experienced similar situations? And if so, how did you overcome?

Try using a different email, even better if you create an entire new profile in google chrome, it helped me get more reads and sales, last week or so has been slow though but on couple of domains I have had more than 80% reads.

Gsuite is pretty decent but I prefer creating new email every time I sell a domain which is why I use registrars like Alpnames, whois and bigrock as they allow you to create 2 emails per domain for free which can be integrated into gmail pretty easily.

When i start outbounding and sent many emails and get mixed response 1. What your asking price? 2. Not interested.
But last 2 month have sent many mails and not get a single response from buyer i think my emails now goes to spam folder.

Maybe they are you need to be using a tracker and really you should only send one email at a time.

set up one email with Yahoo , outlook , gmail and zoho , and send a test email to them all prior to starting any list. problem solved. if one doesnt come through try changing the format, make it bare and plain. if still an issue check if its banned online and submit for removal.

if using 3rd party smtp for read reciepts , well your going to be on a bad IP , if gsuite wont work, try zoho, if both then its your context, tons of info online to start changing it and I always send from the domain itself therefore its a constant change and fresh start of sorts.

nothing great lasts, adjust, be versatile.

Selling GEO EMDs in the low three figure price range. It is the only category in domaining where I able to make sales continously.

For one sale a week I sent 20-30/day

But I recently boosted up my perfomance to 50-60/day

This could be the issue. If you're using emails that are all alike, it will be picked up by a decent spam algorithm. Also, it may not get flagged right away but if a couple of recipients flag it as spam themselves ,which is likely, it contributes to your domain/email reputation in a negative way.

We use to do lots of outbound but we find that there are more email spam detectors now that companies use we prefer waiting for inbound only now it works better with quality domains.

A few tricks are to try and contact them via linked in pay for a premium membership and you can send the ceo a message etc

How many emails/day do you send? Looks like you're getting flagged as spam.

Alternatively, if your target uses gmail as well it may very well get labelled as advertising and not show up in their primary inbox.

I remember when you received an outbound email from my brother (that you called "fake" * b. t. w.), you publicly accused him * of sending you a "spam email" * - but now you are giving other members tips on where they could send their outgoing emails.
Really, in terms of your logic, you actually doing nothing other than suggesting them to where they could send their "spam emails".

To be clear, I have no problem sending someone an outbound - email and I have no problem receiving an outbound email from someone and of course I have no problem to help others or if others help others in such a way.
In all cases, I don't consider such emails as "spam" - this would just be ridiculesss

But I have a "problem" if someone, who accuses someone, even publicly, of sending a "spam email" because of an outbound email he received, is then doing exact the same - and even more - helping others to do that...

...just think about it.

PS I don't see you as an enemy now, we all learn...

Over a year ago... That's quite a grudge.

The email your "brother" sent me was very different, and was very much spam.

Now stop hi-jacking the OP's thread.

Nonsense, your attempt to call it "spam" is ridiculesss

Especially if you call it so...
Also, if you set my brother under quotation marks
("brother"), it does not make him unreal - it's just your crazy idea (that he doesn't exist) but anywayyy

Be sure, there is no grudge - just good will to explain a fundamental point to you.

It's a difference if you exclusively send one email to one selected recipient or if you send the same email at the same time to a plenty number of recipients.
I consider the first one as "outbound" - email and the second one as "spam" - email and I am sure I am not alone with this viewww

If you do not share it (this view), then I am sure you'll understand that I have no choice but to think that you're helping others in sending spam - emails...

BTWWW
No thread hi-jacking, it's all topic - related.
Targeted, customized emails to relevant potential buyers who could legitimately benefit from a domain name is not spam.

Your "brother" sent me an email full of links to "his" profile page and to "his" ridiculously long domain names. I am not a relevant potential buyer. There is no way I could legitimately benefit from buying "his" names. That is not a targeted, thoughtful email. It's spam.

Tell us about some outbound sales you made, and then you can lecture me on outbound best practices.

Who is "us"? I am talking to you, it seems you just want to distract from my point by demanding some outbound - sales - examples from me... ...I won't get into it because that was and is not the point of our discussion and further this thread is not a thread about sales - no matter which type (outbound or inbound).

I was not lecturing you on outbound best practices - I more wrote about a basic point regarding what should be considered as outbound and what can be considered as spam - and for that I was using a matching example...
The problem is that I'm speaking from a place of experience and some moderate success. You are not.

And not only the extension, but proper in-depth research of each one of your names before buying any of them. I can't emphasize enough how important research is.

Research is your best friend in this "game", without it you are on your own relying on pure luck.
Sure you can get lucky, but luck isn't a viable option on the long run.

I have no problem with responses, and I sold about 2 names/week. I spent a lot of time researching companies, creating drafts (10 hours work each day) to send them out at the right time.

All that work is now seems to be down the toilet.

@wizard the Linkedin idea sounds like a good alternative

Yes give it a go also a few other methods as email is really hard work these days to get to the right person.

What kind of sales are you getting if your marketing ?

Selling GEO EMDs in the low three figure price range. It is the only category in domaining where I able to make sales continously.

Tough to say, I had a custom email made and sent a few emails to myself on other accounts and all went to junk folder. This is a brand new domain and email so shouldn't be flagged because of that.

Did you set the right spf record? Also, what smtp server are you using? In general you're right. Should not get flagged...

On a sidenote, a new email address isn't always better. Especially with gmail, outlook end probably some others your domain builds a positive reputation as well. So domain/email age with no track record of spam helps.
