Please come back here and tell us what you sell this domain for, or when you drop it? IMHO, it's worth approx $100, only for it's novelty value. And you are going to be hard-pressed to get anyone to pay that price. You are either going to renew this domain for years on end or you would be better dropping this domain when it expires. There was a reason you were able to hand-reg this domain. Just think about that for a moment. If it has such fantastic google stats how come nobody has developed this domain before (at least according to archive.org).

Keyword planner is quirkier than the old keyword tool.; First of all, it doesn't deal with hyphens well, and if you lookup single words It often returns broad match stats even if you ask for exact match. That's what's happening here. Broad match = the kitchen sink. Synonyms (broad match of terra would also be "earth"), related terms, plurals, partial matches, related terms and partial matches of synonyms etc.

all return 13,600,000, low competition (duh!) and a suggested bid of 9 cents.

When all else fails, stop looking at numbers and use your head. Do you really think anyone types t-e-r-r-a more than "payday loans" (which only shows 550,000)?

Go into the traffic estimater (set a very high daily budget) - you'll get a better picture of the anticipated search demand. Which for t-e-r-r-a is z-e-r-o.
