Hi All,
I own a domain swcnt .com (meaning Single Wall Carbon Nanotubes) which is the technolgy used to reduce the size of mobile phone and so on.
Today I recived a offer from Godaddy for $1250 and I want help in giving a good counter offer.
Frankly I knew that this domain was good and had planned to keep long term but with right price I could even sell it.
Thanks in advance.
Nithya

That seems like a great offer to me. Maybe go back at $1750 or so but you also don't want to lose the sale, so think it through

I would look at how many other potential buyers there are.

I would also check price of swcn cause its for sale. Could be selling for cheap.

To Godaddy, the compamy? nithya, do you mean that the actual Godaddy Company offered to buy your name, or a third party enduser using the auctions. I really need to know. Thanks.

Hey Matt,
The domain was not listed for sale at Godaddy. An Inquiry stating
"You are being contacted by the GoDaddy Domain Buy Service team. We provide a safe and secure method for interested parties to purchase currently registered domain names. We have a client interested in purchasing swcnt.com." It should be an end user I guess.
Thanks,
Nithya

What was godaddy's cut?
When you get an offer from Godaddy, they don't take the cut from the seller. So the seller here must have got 100% of the agreed price.
