Super Bowl contest or raffle?

Has anybody ever tried this? Super Bowl prediction contest with $5 or $10 entry fee or 4L.com entry fee? Or something.

Then someone like eric would administrate and hold the funds as collateral in the contest running.

1st 2nd 3rd place winnings or a percentage of the pool to all participants or something like that.
