I didn’t want to post it but this guy just make me laugh, so I want to share it:

I have Channel1.tv domain, it’s not a secret for how much I’ve picked it (I posted it in my thread).

So I’ve got an offer at Sedo on it $60. I’ve countered 24,6 K euros

I’ve received another offer from him ($65) with comment: “25k eur?? you must be out of your mind. if it were worht that much how did you manage to pick it up for ......? i was just checking anyhow.”

I’ve countered with 24 K euros with comment: ” If I purchased something for $1, it doesn't mean I'll sell it for $2. And who told you I want to sell the name to domainer? Who told you I want to sell domain now? Be fast at NJ next time, so you'll need not to speak with "out of mind people". Luck.”

I thought this conversation is over, but today I’ve received another offer from the big guy ($70) with fantastic comment “Actually I just laugh at how ridiculous you are. if I'd wanted it on NJ I would have had it. I can outbid you any day of week. I've seen dozens of guys like you try to pull same stuff, only then watch them drop all there "so valuable" holdings. Just like the guy who dropped this one before you. You have one last chance now to at least get some of your money back. 70 bucks. Better than nothing. I wont make a higher offer and if you dont act now you'll never get the chance again.”

2 questions I’m interested in: how old is he and is it someone from NP? :)

You should set a min at SEDO to avoid the nonsense. If you put a min $500 you don't have to worry about the lowball offer or the info. I know of at least two people who would pay between $100 to $200 for the name
possibly more, so you have no worry on the $70.

Thanks for comment Equity.
It’s not a problem of low offers, every offer counts. But the problem is with impolite communication. I don’t think people need to say “you must be out of your mind” or “I just laugh at how ridiculous you are. if I'd wanted it on NJ I would have had it. I can outbid you any day of week» things . BTW this one I like mostly : I can outbid you any day of week :)
If I’m selling something to enduser for example it’s OK if I’m receiving reply “get the … out” or something like that. But if the guy is contacting ME, what right does he have to say something like it.
My price is MY PRICE so he must respect it. If no, I think channel domains after 100 are not registered.

Was the person bidding against you ? Why would they think you would take less ? You won this name a few weeks ago ?

The auction was 1,5-2 month ago. But I don’t know if he bided against me (there was no bidding war). I think he forgot to bid. And it’s mystery for me, why he think I’ll sell it cheaper from the price I’ve purchased it.

sedo is the worst place to offer names. i've had many names "sell" on sedo only to have the buyers turn into vapor. instead of getting better its gotten worse and the last website update has made it a pain to navigate.
