i am so proud of this forum. there is such a level of respect in here.
yeah, i know there have been moments- but the way people disagree or argue a point is on a much higher level of maturity. for the most part, it is really a well tuned machine.

and i am not saying this to be a cheerleader- i am not saying we are great, and no one else is- not at all. there is just a calm in here. that kind of calm makes it easier to do business. makes it easier to learn, and to teach.

i want to thank ray for trying to keep a level playing ground. i know he is very straightforward, and maybe someone needs to spill liquid on his caps key :hehe:
but, he gets down on the floor with us, he puts his foot down when he has too, but still opens situations up to public vote to get our input. but what i like most, is he asks questions- makes you think about what you are doing and why. its not just moderating, its getting involved.

and before you flash that little "what a kiss ass" thought through your mind- there is no need for that here. because moderator or not, i think ray would say the same exact stuff and be the same exact way if he wasnt a mod. there is no golden seats next to the teacher- which is the way it should be.

i want to thank the members of this forum. i have really learned so much from you guys. and even tho i am a woman, you have treated me like a domainer, and i never feel like this is a boys club. you have treated me kindly, and with respect. when i had questions, you answered, if i had a moment of stupid-head, ya'll didnt stone me.

this is important, not just because it makes a fine forum, but because it makes it a place that is conducive for business and growth.

i am very happy here.

The attitude that you see on this particular forum, Smash, is what is known in the higher circles of business as PROFESSIONALISM!

This forum does indeed have much to be proud of as a learning and teaching tool and yes, I give my tip o' the hat to Ray for making this forum fun.

Let me put it this way...

As soldiers in the front line, I seriously doubt that one would be concerned whether male or female soldier has their back. It is good to know that their is a camaderie that can only be shared by those whose interests are the same. You(and the rest of this crew) welcomed me to the club when I first started. That, ma'am, is an intelligent business attitude, a winners attitude if you will.

Yeah, Ray deserves the recognition for his talented efforts, no bones 'bout it. Thanks and looking forward to riding the .tv wave.

Thanks ray for being a good mentor and I have seen him post at 3am and odd hours of the night and morning. We have a dedicated person here and watching out for everyone

Thank you for the kind words Dottie, and everyone else I am still trying to decipher millers post.

You are right being a mod has nothing to do with anything I am not part of any hierarchy I am mod because I started the discussion. There were 6 people that even talked about .tv when I came here in 04. I try to keep things off here that are not about the .tv ext and selling,developing and ideas because I believe words have meaning. Its a .tv subforum plenty of places to post other off topic stuff.

I also have noticed what goes on in other places and will not allow that type of flame wars here and it was set up in the beginning to not allow it. Do not like .tv great think it sucks? Great. But you will not flame here just looking to start when you have no interest in the extension. I am just as bothered by hype as I am flame. I have always said .tv is not the next big thing. It is an opportunity IMO to get great keywords in the most recognized abbreviation in the world.

The caps button Dottie is I type fast usually doing three things and sometimes hit the cap lock and do not go back and edit it most of the time. I will try to and only use it to emphasize or when people say something that is so off.

Its like people who think I get upset if they disagree with my opinion. Most of the time I am not giving opinion or asking. Do you ever see me post an appraisal thread ?
I don't care if people think tv.tv sucks that was one opinion I gave way back. for those that don't like it I understand why, for the people that followed my opinion I know some have made money off tv.tv. That's what I care about that people make money or learn how to develop.

This was the first extension specific forum did not exist prior to 11/05 I think everyone here has done a great job on a forum that was originally started for six people who followed an extension that everyone thought sucked.

Yeah, I agree completely. I was never a part of any forums before and I'm constantly cruising posts here. In addition to NP i'm registered at DNF and digitalpoint (and no disrespect to those sites whatsoever they are both extremely useful) but there is enlightened conversation everyday here and that is awesome.

Talking business, doing business, shooting the sh*t, it's all good stuff.
