Strange situation:

Hey friends, strange situation with my one domain: today i received to email from Godaddy: Transfer Action Needed with ID and Code. Domain regged at another registrar, but someone initiated a transfer process to Godaddy.
What is it???

1. A noob thief, who thinks that it works just like this.
2. A person mistyped the domain.
3. Chinese buyers trying to scare you and make to sell the domain. (I've already read about such situations when chinese buyers initiated transfers after unsuccessful negotiations.)
4. A scam that wants you to click on link.

Someone paid for transfer. But an auth code and ID & security code in my hands,
Transfer will go only after put these codes.

Seems to me that as long as your e-mail wasn't hacked / your computer hasn't been infected with malware you should be just fine.

Someone could be trying to steal your domain.

Don't click on links in the email.

The email might not be from who it says.

The from address could be spoofed.
