Hi all, I bought 3 LLLL.com domains in June and spent 3 months on selling them. Luckily I managed to sell them all with a tiny profit (~$5-10 each).

And now, I am wondering if 4 characters .com domain is a good investment opportunities... what do you think?

Thank you.

LLLL.COM not premium and not exact acronyms have an active reseller market within low-mid $xx range.
Generically you can manage them in two ways: long term investment, keep it for years hoping the market will raise up to gold times (2006-2008), OR quick flips with small profits.
The second solution is more common for non-premium LLLL.coms.
You can acquire hundreds of them at $15 / $20 each one, and then sell them at $25-$30 quite easily, with a little patience and good marketing skills. If you consider an average $7 net profit for each one, make your homework and figure out how much you can earn.
But it requires a lot of time, and i'm not sure it worths the efforts.

I invest on llll.com domains madly. i have got buyer waiting to buy llll.coms from me. so i get llll.com and sell them as soon as my buyer gets my mail.

So i will buy any llll.com for 15-16$ each if they are 6 months renewed no matter what the latter's are.

Thanks.

It's based on the domain name. If you get a single English word .com
Example blue.com you can sell it for a large amount of money.

Depending on the quality of the LLLL - I'd steer away from nonpremium LLLL at least if you are just starting out as before you sell them they could pile you up with renewal fees - deal in bulk if you want those nonpremium ( yeah occasionally they do sell for nice prices ). But the difference is if you have 1 LLLL worth around 30-40 in reseller market and you bought it for 20-30$ add 1-2 renewals if you don't sell in a year or two and you are left with nothing - buy better LLLL ( CVCV ) or even quad premium in the event you don't sell those 2 years worth of renewals won't kill you if you got a nice deal you can still probably get some + in the reseller market, but I think they are a more stable investment.
