I would say by far the worst domain registrar would be registryweb.com. They sucker you in with very low domain fees. They jack them up the following year and if you try to transfer your domain, you have to pay a $50 domain ransom fee. You have no recourse but to either pay to renew the domain or pay $50 for the EPP transfer codes. The wording of their contract states that the $50 is for early termination. Unfortunately for customers they consider one second before expiration as early termination. Do a search on registryweb.com reviews and you will see that they have other victims.
