DOTEASY holding domains hostage until I pay ransom

They claim I have to pay an extra fee to transfer out but Godaddy is the one receiving the transfer.

This is just holding my property from me for a ransom.

Has anyone else dealt with this negligence? Their resolution was said that I could pay the fee as a renewal instead (being $20 a year per domain total) and then could transfer them all at no extra costs after 60 days but obviously this is extra costs and they are just ripping off customers

If you just got them, then they are under the 60 day window where you cannot transfer them out. Wait 60 days and try to transfer them to GoDaddy after that.

They are past the 60 day point. My main complaint was really that I asked all this even before purchase and let them know I would be transferring later and still after asking through phone and email, Doteasy neglected to tell me any of these specifics until it was ultimately time to transfer.

Yeah, ok. Seems like a valid complaint to me if its past the 60 days.
