i used this to do the spider test :-

http://www.submitexpress.com/analyzer/

i typed in my site name and it reported back mostly great but one thing it came up with that seems a bit worrying to me....but due to my newbie status it maybe nothing to worry about , but any way it said this :-

Found no keywords meta tag.
The keyword meta tag is still used by many search engines. Consider to add a keyword meta tag.

but how do i do this on whypark ? i cant see the option.

I've entered my 20 keywords and my meta description.

Is the keywords meta tag , important ? or is it generated automatically by whypark later?

TIA

There is no need to add a keywords meta tag. Its obsolete now and the SE's will index your meta description or your first article.

Btw, just a friendly suggestion, why not use your previous whypark newbie thread to ask the questions. Works better than starting a new thread for a similar question. :)

Hi Folks - Just a quicki, I have a number of domain names with Whypark, why is it that whenever I add a forex or loans or insurance site to Google sitemaps they get spidered within two weeks but when I add a domain name for e.g a game site - it can take up to 2 or 3 months ?

I don't know the answer to your question but as an example I have 50 domains at WhyPark for over 4 months, all are indexed by Google except for 3 which seem to be forgotten by google every time they spider which is on average once a month.

Those 3 domains are however indexed by Yahoo and MSN. Maybe someone has an explanation for this.

BTW Welcome to Name Pros!

Hi Gil

Yeah, well I think I may have to submit my domains to those other main search engines yahoo etc. Half of mine were parked at Namedrive for a few months earning peanuts - they've been in Whypark for a bit over 3 months I think - I like the Whypark coz I know content is important and it's good having a bit of a free reign to do what I want with the design coz I know that also helps heaps with seo - anyways I'll just have to get onto the submitting them to other search engines - have a couple hundred - any easier way than googles where I gotta copy and paste sitemaps and analytics code into the site admin ?

Cheers
Pjay

Again - thanks for the welcome :)

Yeah more than a full days work :( and thanks for the tip about separating my links - eventually I cut and pasted one of your dividers at the end of each link and as you can see no probs. So double thanks :)

You're welcome. It's looking good and obviously ocupies a lot less space.

You should fix the first line, as it only has the letters (IP-) followed by the rest (ADD) on the second line. Just hit the "backspace" key after placing your cursor at the end of the first link and begginning of second link and that should do the trick. Verify it first offcourse.
