With my domains parked at Bodis when I get indexed in Google and Yahoo both get decent positioning and a good desription with the search results.

With ones at Parked the Yahoo results are blank and It will just show the domain name with no desription. I have not taken the time to add meta or footer information to my parked.com pages. I know thats where the problem is.

My question is what information does Yahoo use to make the description show with the search results? Is it the Meta tag? I used a meta tag grabber on one of my Bodis site and it shows no meta information. I have heard that Google doesn't use Meta anymore but Yahoo still does to an extent.

Something is different. I get a lot of traffic from Yahoo for a niche area that I have a few domains in. I would like to show different styles of pages because I have two or three domains on the first page for several search terms in Yahoo. I doesn't help if all the sites look so similar. If I move a name from Bodis to Parked it will lose traffic in just a few days.

Don't get me wrong I like both parking systems I just need to get a description up on my Yahoo results with Parked.

Yahoo uses your description plus part of page content which includes keywords matching search query. You need to add descriptions for your sites at Parked, because they have no content. Adding some custom content may also help.

"Not using meta tags" means not using meta keywords. Meta description is still important.
