Spaceship.com recently launched a new Marketplace section, and as NamePros has given me the go-head, I think the company deserves its own thread for NP domain marketplace users to converse in.

https://www.spaceship.com/sellerhub/

Personally speaking, I will be setting up a new Spaceship.com account this weekend and going to work investigating its various features, options and policies.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.

@Dane One More Thing. Once you've added the TXT record, it needs some time to resync. Use the resync button on the right and wait until you get an email that the TXT record has been resync'ed for all your domains [for all your Atom domains with Atom nameservers].

Awesome. Thanks so much. ๐Ÿ‘

@Marina Savina For "External" domains listed on SellerHub that passed initial TXT verification ("Listed" domains), is it required that the TXT record remains in place at all time?

I'm asking this in the context of doing repeated CSV uploads with the same domains, to change prices.

In short, is the (TXT) verification a one-time process, or does it recur periodically, even with every CSV upload?
Hello, unless you delist or remove the domain name from SellerHub completely, itโ€™s a one time action. So if domain is present in SellerHub any updates to the settings do not require re-verification. However if you remove the domain and remove TXT, when you add it next time, it will be necessary to verify again.

When you search SpaceShip, domains for sale (SellerHub) without the extension they are not displayed. They only appear with the extension included.

There have 2 questions.
1. When will the LTO transaction function be available?
2. When will the batch change of domain name description be launched?
Thanks

I must be missing this somehow, but is there a different commission structure for domains with NS not pointed to spaceship?

When there is the same listing on SEDO/Afternic and Spaceship, there is a little glitch still on Namecheap domain search:

When the buyer searches for the exact match without the tld, the auto-suggest pulls up the SEDO listing with a discounted price.

But as soon as the complete domain with tld is typed in, the Spaceship listing is overriding it. So the buyer sees a flash of a discounted price before seeing a higher one, which is not ideal. Also the X next to Spaceship names should be replaced with the green checkmark, as a user on x already suggested.

Anyone getting landing page error with: ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR? Support says its cause they don't support HTTP/3 and told me to turn it off in Chrome/Firefox, but I can't realistically expect anyone coming to the landing page to be doing that same thing.

Oddly I only get this issue with a few domains that are also registered with Spaceship. Any domains registered elsewhere but pointing to Spaceship's nameservers have never had issues.

Might be related to this Firefox update:

Good catch. It does seem specific to QUIC which must be now default in base Chrome and Firefox. I hope Spaceship addresses this soon since most people won't know to disable that setting.

You can check whether it has already been enabled in your browser, in about:config.

Look for a preference named network.http.http3.use_nspr_for_io

If this preference is set to false, then your Firefox browser is using the new Rust-based UDP I/O stack for QUIC.

If it's set to true, it's still using the older NSPR-based stack.

Firefox 140.0.4 already contains the new Rust QUIC/UDP I/O code under the hood. The gradual deployment isnโ€™t tied to shipping a new Firefox version โ€“ itโ€™s driven by Mozillaโ€™s Shield remote-config system. Under the hood, Firefox uses a system called Normandy (publicly branded as Shield) to manage experiments, feature rollouts, and emergency switches. Rather than bundling every toggle in your installer or about:config, Normandy lets Mozilla turn features on or off remotely - in your existing Firefox build - according to a controlled schedule.

Could be Firefox as well, since they're testing (monitoring) how this gradual rollout will behave in the wild.

Can anyone tell me if there is a public link to my listings? (For example /sellerhub/username)

Landing pages aren't secure (SSL) with Brave browser.

Can you provide an example lander? Brave may be stricter re: mixed content, OCSP/CRL revocation checks, etc.

Brave is chromium. Do you have the same issue in Chrome?

Oh it looks like Chrome and Firefox too. Does SpaceShip need to redirect http inputs to https ? If you put in an https it works.
